    Medication use in the elderly has become increasingly complex over the years. With most residents residing in community settings taking four or more medications per day. Polypharmacy has had increased attention from Medicare and Medicaid. Medication errors are common, preventable, easy to make and can be deadly to a resident. This webinar reviewed sources of errors, measures to reduce the likelihood of them occurring and discussed evidence-based prevention strategies.
