UPDATES FOR 5.0 (Flashpoints & Operations) Knights of the Eternal Throne * Hardmode is now called Veteran, and the next harder mode is called Master mode * Operations are now ONLY for subscribers... you must be subscribed to play them, there are no more passes. * Endgame Gear is no longer dropped directly from flashpoint bosses, you instead gain galactic command points when you reach level 70. There's no more commendations either. * There's also a new type of Flashpoint called 'Uprisings' at level 70 - they're very fast and have no cutscenes. They have story and veteran modes you can queue for - easy and hard.
Swtorista due to the exp boost currently, i am quickly gaining levels , but i am just now finishing chap 1 class story! should i ignore ops/fp until i hit level 70 and finish my class story? sounds like i would miss out on Command points until then. ty!
One tip I would give is to try to find an active guild that does Ops., and FPs. A guild will care more if you learn the fights then some random player will. So will take time to teach you the fights, and will develop you more as a player. A guild also will be much more patient with newer players then a random player will be.
I just finished both Foundry Flashpoints on Solo Story Difficulty w/ my combat support NPC and gained 4 levels in 2.5 hrs. Wasn't expecting to get that much experience.
The more I sit and think about all the guides being written by all the veteran players, it's a really good idea, because I feel that even though most of this may be second nature to most of us (and we ignore most of this "lesser" stuff). Any new people coming in will have enough material to help them learn (not that some will, they'd prefer to learn the hard way) but it's still really nice. Good Job!!
Hey Juibohh! Quite a long time ago you offered to help with pvp guides. I'm finally working on them - would you be interested in reading the script and adding any corrections or suggestions? If not no worries, it's a long script! docs.google.com/document/d/18vnuqHjT4l8WVdv1VpXGqpGxzo97-0HDZX_Lmm75G5A/edit?usp=sharing
Good video. Keep it up :) Although I have to disagree with dps being the easiest role: it might be the easiest to get into but the hardest to master ;)
+Mikko Juntunen Thanks Mikko! I HIGHLY agree, DPS is easy to get into but if you want to be hitting the max numbers, the spreadsheets and rotation testing and practice can make your head spin!
+Swtorista hi it me again I hit level 57 the other day but I'm trying my hardest to level up as a bounty hunter and I was Alicia the bounty hunter I talked with you for a bit then we stopped but I'm glad to see more vids they really help me out
Between my Sith Warrior & Inquisitor, I LOVE my Lightning Inquisitor SO much more over my warrior. I set my companions to either damage or tank, then I just sit back & electrocute the shit out of my enemies. It's the greatest thing ever!
+K-plus tunjevina woohoo!! Good for you!! Ok so I don't rush them that often. But from what I remember 90% of them are pretty doable and there are two really hard ones... One is Blood Hunt, the other I forget. PS they are now called veteran mode. Let your group know you are new As the tank you lead the way in FPS and if your group is trying to run ahead ask them to let you go first And how forgiving will likely depend on your healer it you get one :p Good luck!!!
Hey Swtorista, is there anyway I could contact about appearing on my swtor podcast, I think i follow you on Twitter but I was wondering if that would interest you?
Like always great video, they should put race benefits in swtor, Like zabraks would be the best tanks due to their dmg resilience. are their any racial benefits?
No racial benefits except some fun emotes. Some other games have them... and they kinda ruin the "immersion storytelling" though.. for example lots of people would end up picking zabrak, even if they might really like a chiss better. I definitely like choosing for the story over the stats!
you are right they would affect the game lorewise like instead of being a vicious zabrak sith dps you would only choose a zabrak to tank I get you perfectly

Great vid, learning alot from this series so far. Thanks for making it.

+Jiunohh Thanks Jiunohh, they're fun to make too :)
+Swtorista Also, you plan on making any pvp guides?? Because I've pvped on numerous servers and against many classes and may be able to help
Jiunohh
That sounds like something we will likely cover in the future! If I end up writing one I'll ask for help if needed :)

Juibohh lol. Jiunohh!
so how do you zoom out to beyond the basic range? is this an option somewhere as my tactical awareness is impaired all too frequently
in settings
really looking forward to ops, especially with the 250% exp active
These are great. Thanks a lot for taking the time to educate new players!
+Hamtoast89 Glad you like them Hamtoast, thanks! :)
Woot! Flashpoints and operations! :D

+Michael Thanks Michael, good luck raiding!
+Swtorista what role do u mainly play as ?
+Michael I mainly play as a tank :)

me=healer
Great content as always!!
+_BlackD Thanks Black, I'll keep 'em coming :)
I plan on jumping in and pugging flashpoints. I know the basic abilities and have tanked in wow. How forgiving are hardmode flashpoints?
+K-plus tunjevina woohoo!! Good for you!!

Good luck!!!
worth mentioning that dps gets a lot harder than healing or tanking on harder difficulty operations
VERY TRUE!
Well done!!!
+Markos Martong Thanks Markos! :)
Hey Swtorista, is there anyway I could contact about appearing on my swtor podcast, I think i follow you on Twitter but I was wondering if that would interest you?
+Swtorista I had to @message you because since you don't follow me it won't let me DM you lol
great vid due to limitations I am solo but I can solo red rep. at 72 lev.
You can't play these modes with groups for story because everybody forced you to skip the cutscenes
Can free players join somehow to operation cas i rely wanna dread throne and altar?!

But how do you start it? Terrible tutorial
