Is the 88D 3rd gen head heavier than the original ? I am looking for something in the voltric style. (I am considering adding some lead tape at the top)
Hello! Someone sold me both 88D & 88S pros for $100/each but without the assist bumpers on top of the head. I’m starting to think they’re fakes. Do the real ones always have the bumpers on top? Please advise. Thank you.
@@nigeldollentas I ordered this racket, and it will most likely arrive tomorrow, so I'll write my impressions then. Until now, I have been using a racket with a heavy head, medium flexible. but its total weight was 80 grams, which was too light for me. Will the 10 grams difference in the new racket be a big problem hmm I hope not. 😁
@@adrienjoshua6710 For me personally, the racket is good. It all depends on what you're used to playing with and whether you've previously played with a racket that has head heavy . If you're a man and have some strength in your hands, it shouldn't be a problem. My goal was to have the best version of the racket and train my skills with it so that if I'm not good at something, I can only blame myself and not the racket.
I went from Victor TKF to 88D Pro (both 4U). I find drops, slices and smashes is great with the 88D pro. But I would get tired a lot quicker than using the TKF. 88D pro is a great weapon is the right hand, but you’ll need the strength and stamina to tame it. I’ll probably stick with TFK for doubles now and leave 88D pro for singles
I wonder how it compares to Victor Ryuga Metallic
If you're not capable of using that racket I think a lot of users watching you will probably not be able to take advantage of it as well
Exactly
Hope the 88D GAME is less head-heavy. 🙏🙏
yes it is
im planning to buy the 3rd gen 88 play, any tips or some suggestions?
Which Yonex Rocket is best between 8-9k ?
Would 88d be an upgrade from 100zz?

Is 88d game 3rd gen worth it for a intermediate player?
I have this same question. I can't afford the pro version haha
Yes it is broh, I used my friends 88d game and its very good it has good power and good defense. Its 4u btw
Have you reviewed the 3U or 4U racket? It seems impossible to me that the 4U can be as heavy as you describe.
It’s the 4U. It is.

How much 88 play?
Is this a 3U or 4U version?
4u
Will 3U version be too heavy for men’s doubles?

3rd gen is not heavier than 2nd gen.
Obviously, they’re both 3U and 4u. If you understood, you would’ve known it was about head weight and balance point.
