Poor guy, he was a lovely player. He made the error so many people make: jabbering non-stop instead of just THINKING for a second and coming up with an actual catchphrase. Series 9, episode 2 (from the TVS era) is a great example of a contestant who did the opposite and won the holiday.
I've just been watching the "Snake Charmer" episode between Marita and Sean and thinking to myself, as much flak as we give Cindy for only getting one Catchphrase right in the whole of this show, Marita only got four Catchphrases right in her show and yet, in an odd way, has gone down as a game show legend.
Chris from series 9 almost finished with less money than her (£65), but he got the last super catchphrase to finish with £265, so he's probably the closest to being worse. I remember on one episode it showed you the contestant selection process where the contestants were shown past catchphrases and the ones that got the most right were selected. How on Earth did Cindy get past that?
Always use to watch this as a child and a grown up. Love it.❤
Poor wee Cindy, I guess the nerves got her. Hope they gave her a few more pounds.
Christ It's Kick The Bucket Cindy.
that was my Uncle Brian! :) my Grandad's brother!
Good for you.
Can I ask how old he was when he was on the show? It’s difficult to guess folks’ ages with 90s fashion 😆
cindys my grandma do u want a medal
@@harriettownsley2363 think he does deserve one with a grandad that can get more than 75 pounds lol
I can only imagine that Brian spends several hours a day just staring at his doorstep.
And sitting on it, looking at it, thinking about it, dreaming about that door step
@@oliverhunter1847 anything but watching his step.

Would that £75 be Cindy's Taxi/Train Fare Home?

My favourite part is where they guess the catchphrases… and where catchphrase turns into a horror movie 13:48
My favourite part is where the rooster split in twain.
owned!!!
I think Cindy has to be the worst Catchphrase contestant ever, unless someone knows somebody who did worse than her
