I just graduated from college today. (November 10th, 2023). Nothing special but everyone in my classroom is like family to me. My teacher and classmates. I don’t want it to end, but this song has made me realize that “people come and go”, and all good things come to an end. I’m going to miss them a lot, we had a nice little party on the last day prior to our graduation. It’s all love, appreciate every single person I met from there, truly an honor. Now it’s time we all moved on and became union electricians. Wish them the best of luck and hopefully they make it far in life. ❤️
I personally found that school is horrible. College is what wanted school to be. Definitely some of the best experiences in ones life if they find just the right people.

This is literally how I feel right now. I'm just now getting to royal I been binging the series since January I started with base p5 then, 4 golden and p3p and I've been going through some shit internally and as soon as I went into that bar with akechi I heard this and it hit home so much it caught me off guard , it felt like Lynn was saying exactly how I felt and I really started to love this game more than I already did. Like you said you just had to accept it. Shout out to lotus juice, seems like a pretty versatile writer from his work on this and p3. Thank you for posting this.
I LOVE THIS SONG!!! Mainly cause it tells you so much about Akechi's characters. He's someone who had nothing grothing up, no one who stuck round long enough so in the end all he could focus on was getting his revenge on Shido. At 1st he didn't second question himself till he met joker, he started questioning if he really wanted to go threw with his plan and throw away the one meaningful bond he's created. It shows us that Akechi isn't a selfish monster, it shows us he questions himself and that he isn't immoral. God akechi and this song r amazing!!

In his rank 7 he talks about joker and how sometimes their obsticals that get in the way and how he's sad to have to take them out, and in the engine room he says about how if he met joker only a few years earlier it would have been enough and he'd have never seaked revenge, cause he'd have had what he wanted, a friend and someone who cared for him. As I said in my previous comment akechi isn't a villain, he didn't want to kill joker and especially the 2nd time, befor the engine room he has a phone call with Shido and says how they should let jokers friends live and Shido freatns to kill him, what do you expect him to do? Not go and do what he says and just let Shido kill him?? Sure Akechi made mistakes but he fully takes responsibility by offering to take jokers place, not expecting the PT to be kind to him and then choosing to 'die' so ppl will have their free will, he's definitely not dead but that doesn't make his sacrifice any less meaningfully, he genuinely though he was going to die. I don't understand how me likeing akechi as a character and having empathy for him would make me irresponsible. The character we play as LITERALLY has him as his wish in maruki's reality, joker is genuinely friends with akechi aswell and wishes to have him in his life. The hole reason they added his confidant and the 3rd semester was to show that he wasn't a 1 dimensional crazy killer. And even if you don't max out his confidant you see multiple times it's stated that he isn't a 'crazy kill happy freak' the SIU director is suprised with how gory okumura's death was and says it must have been Akechi's idea but instead shidos, when akechi sees okumura's death he gets annoyed at sae for watching the video and dis disterved and nearly throws up, Shido asks akechi what he's going to do after the election and akechi says he just wants to focus on his studies not wanting to use Shido to get anything extra wich Shido is suprised by and akechi doesn't want to kill the PT he says in a phone call with Shido and he definitely didn't want to kill joker because he was his only friend. Also his HOLE breakdown befor fighting the PT was ALL because he was neglected and isolated his hole life and all those points were from outside of his social link. If you didn't do that or understand his character or play attention to the details the game feeds to u that's on u don't then complain when other ppl like him. Hell theirs even a hole manga dedicated to his and jokers relationship showing their genuine friendship and how Akechi agrees to investigate a murder for joker, that creates so much work for him he has high school, detective work, shidos stuff AND then looking into stuff for joker. And akechi doesn't even half ass it he actually is helpfull and goes out of his way for him for litrelly nothing in return!!! The game doesn't write him as a 'crazy kill happy freak' they writes him as someone who was traumatised, neglected and damaged being someone who only wanted love and a genuine friendship with the MC. If u don't feel any simpathy towards him it's OK, art is subjective but if you didn't max him out or play attention to the story that a you problem not a 'he's a terrible crazy character' problem.
Almost about to finish Royal and this song makes me wonder how long have I spent on this game. How much fun I have had. How much I've learned and grown in 3 months. This is the end-game theme for not just Akechi but for the player as well. A reflection of how much has happened.

What a beautiful song, some games are more than just a game, every persona game ends up reaching my soul one way or another and i'm grateful to be alive to play them, the little things matter in the day by day so lets just enjoy life the way it is.
As someone who has made so many big changes in her life, and faced so much self doubt and loss of those around her because of her identity and loyalty to her friend, I always think of this song, and remember that i should be proud. Cause every step I've made, even though many of them hurt, have gotten me to a place where I no longer feel foreign to myself, my body and soul, I'm truly at peace in many ways, and hope I can get those people who have contributed to my past hardships, but are still close to Me, to find that same comfort within themselves, and become as close as we were before time made us as distant as we are now, I want that more then anything, and hope that it's possible. But either way, i know I've made the right choices for myself, and at the end of the day, that's what's most important.

This song is so perfect for Akechi. Akechi was never used to having stable/dependable people in his life until he met Joker. "People come and they go. Some people may stay with you, though." I wonder how Akechi felt after realities swapped and he realized the mistakes he made in that palace and reflected on it. "I am all alone tonight, And I, kept on asking myself questions." Akechi himself tells you in your fight against him he never questioned his own train of thought until he got closer to Joker. "I never really doubted myself. But tonight got me thinkin bout it all. If I am the fool or whatnot." In the end Maruki swapping realities ended up giving Akechi a chance to redeem himself and do the right thing. "I do not regret, with my choices, I'm rather proud."

I know this may sound dumb or weird but this song really resonated me so much. It basically retells the story of my high school where I was so brash, confident, and raring to go at anything, having multiple infatuations yet it all came and went by. Thinking about it, it was naivety but I also regret nothing. College humbled me and now am a former shell of myself with added loneliness, anxiety and uncertainty. Not to mention envy and jealousy with my other peers on other aspects of life, but what matters is how I should be a good friend to my fellows.

Just realised lyrically this song doesn't have a chorus. Lyrics can make or break a song for me, but the entire P5 ost is not only cute little musical masterpieces, they also have beautifully thought out lyrics (although quite depressing when you know the meaning to a lot of the lyrics).
I played the normal version before so I didn’t bother meeting Akechi at all. It was only during the 3rd semester where I remembered a jazz club existed, and when I checked why I couldn’t enter it during the nights, I realized I was fucked.
You can get 3rd semester so long as you max out Maruki’s confidant. Maxing out Akechi isn’t required but heavily recommended since you get his 3rd tier persona during third semester and extra cutscenes if you do
I just had my first break up with my first girlfriend and it hurts more than I thought I don't even know if I did the right things but I sure couldn't take it anymore I think she hates herself now but I need her to get over me I hope things get better goodbye my first love

What a beautiful song, some games are more than just a game, every persona game ends up reaching my soul one way or another and i'm grateful to be alive to play them, the little things matter in the day by day so lets just enjoy life the way it is.
As someone who has made so many big changes in her life, and faced so much self doubt and loss of those around her because of her identity and loyalty to her friend, I always think of this song, and remember that i should be proud.
Cause every step I've made, even though many of them hurt, have gotten me to a place where I no longer feel foreign to myself, my body and soul, I'm truly at peace in many ways, and hope I can get those people who have contributed to my past hardships, but are still close to Me, to find that same comfort within themselves, and become as close as we were before time made us as distant as we are now, I want that more then anything, and hope that it's possible.
But either way, i know I've made the right choices for myself, and at the end of the day, that's what's most important.

This song is so perfect for Akechi. Akechi was never used to having stable/dependable people in his life until he met Joker. "People come and they go. Some people may stay with you, though." I wonder how Akechi felt after realities swapped and he realized the mistakes he made in that palace and reflected on it. "I am all alone tonight, And I, kept on asking myself questions." Akechi himself tells you in your fight against him he never questioned his own train of thought until he got closer to Joker. "I never really doubted myself. But tonight got me thinkin bout it all. If I am the fool or whatnot." In the end Maruki swapping realities ended up giving Akechi a chance to redeem himself and do the right thing. "I do not regret, with my choices, I'm rather proud."

I know this may sound dumb or weird but this song really resonated me so much.
It basically retells the story of my high school where I was so brash, confident, and raring to go at anything, having multiple infatuations yet it all came and went by. Thinking about it, it was naivety but I also regret nothing. College humbled me and now am a former shell of myself with added loneliness, anxiety and uncertainty.
Not to mention envy and jealousy with my other peers on other aspects of life, but what matters is how I should be a good friend to my fellows.

Lyrics can make or break a song for me, but the entire P5 ost is not only cute little musical masterpieces, they also have beautifully thought out lyrics (although quite depressing when you know the meaning to a lot of the lyrics).

You can get 3rd semester so long as you max out Maruki’s confidant. Maxing out Akechi isn’t required but heavily recommended since you get his 3rd tier persona during third semester and extra cutscenes if you do
