Oh John, how we miss you!! I visited 'Imagine' Strawberry Fields in Central Park this past October. It was very touristy but also very emotional!! I've had the pleasure of seeing Macca four times...twice in Canada (and met him at the Sheraton in Winnipeg in the early 90s) and twice in Liverpool. He's awesome and will ALWAYS be our Liverpool lad!!!!
I went last night with my son who is just discovering the Beatles and living their music!! Im obsessed but first time seeing Paul live. A real coming age moment for us both!! INCREDIBLE NIGHT!! ❤️🙏🎵🎸.x
I love this guy, seen him live many times but his voice was shot 20 years ago and this band is just sloppy in the guitar and backing voice, department and the bass player can't cop the Macca lines with the same feel.. The 89-90 band was insanely tight and they sounded so much better. The 76 Wings band was his best post Beatle ensemble, that was peak Macca. He was from another planet on that tourr. Go checkout the Rockshow video. Now its just nostalgia to see him and Macca has nothing too prove to anyone.
You really don't get it. The man is an 82 year old billionaire, he's not still rocking because he needs an extra few quid he's doing it purely for the love of what he does... He's selling out concerts worldwide, playing to millions of fans who adore and cherish the music this man has created. He's still out there, playing 2hrs30 minutes without pause, giving people the absolute joy of connecting with the incredible songs he has penned in a 60+ year career that have been the soundtrack to the life of 4 or 5 generations of family. The man is an ICON of human history not just music. As someone who saw him recently, the man can still move you to tears with a beautiful song or rock the stadium out with a banger...but aye he should pack all that in because you think he doesn't sound like 1969 Paul.
Macca is an unbelievable musical genius what a performer !!! Thank you for sharing !! 👍👍😎🎸BB 🌲🌲🌲☃☃☃ 👍76
Sir Paul, back in Manchester, 62 years after his first appearance with The Beatles back in 1962. Amazing.
That was at the co-op in Middleton?
