  • With my Branson, Missouri condo back in order after renovations and a quick visit to Silver Dollar City for some video, I’m headed home to Texas. Along the way I videoed the entire trip from Branson all the way through the Ozarks to Fort Smith Arkansas.
    In part one of this video we travel from the Branson strip to Highway 65 south through Hollister and back into Arkansas. We’ll conclude this portion of the drive with the scenic drive from Highway 65 over to Alpena, Arkansas. Join us as we drive this scenic drive through the Ozarks.

    Fun fact: the bridge @10:25 is several hundred feet above the creek below. It is the highest bridge in many tens of miles. It also crosses the train tracks used by the Branson Scenic Railroad between two tunnels.

      Love that bridge. It's one of the scenic places on highway. I did realize that was the same track as the Branson Scenic Railroad. Thanks for the information and for watching and commenting.

    Thumbs up if you recall the old 2 lane route 65 before 1999-2000.

    If you happen to like Chinese food swing out to the west a little bit next time to Tahlequah OK and go to red Moon!

    BRANSON, MISSOURI IS SO MUCH OVERRATED TO SAY THE LEAST!!!! TRAFFIC ON ---"THE STRIP" IS TERRIBLE!!!!

    • @findushere
      @findushere  3 месяца назад +1

      Don't really have to yell 😃but traffic can be pretty bad but much better in the last few years. There are many alternate routes now. I think it's all about what you are looking for. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      Learn the parallel routes. Turn off Roark Valley and come back up where you need to be. That kind of thing.

      @@williammain7281 I agree. Traffic is not much of an issue anymore. I've done videos on all of the alternate routes. Thanks for the comment!
