- Watch as our early childhood students at OnnoRokom Shikkhaloy dive into hands-on learning with a fun and educational seed planting activity! Guided by our elementary students, the young learners prepared seedling pots, filled them with soil, and carefully planted coriander seeds. They learned basic gardening skills, explored new vocabulary like “soil” and “seed” in English, and practiced counting from 1 to 6 while deciding how many seeds to plant.
Through this activity, our students developed teamwork, fine motor skills, and a deeper connection to nature. Placing the pots in a shaded area, they also learned the basics of nurturing plants in a garden setting. This engaging lesson beautifully blends practical life skills with language and numeracy in a supportive, nature-based environment.
