  • @AccelBurner

Let's be honest, TCG will never release the Tactical-Try out of logic that it contains a lot of staples and they will be like "No we won't give the staples at the cost of a few breads, we will lose money !"
And seriously if they do release it, this is the best entry point for new players and being suited to the modern Yugioh environment, of course it's not perfect because of the current meta with Snake Eyes that is currently rampant but it will be an encouraging step if TCG is willingly to do it, because their current sales are dropping fast.

i wish they'd have events like in the ocg structures manga where you do draft for 20 cards of your MD and then bring the other 20. you don't get to know the card pool in advance, you just know it will be from recent-ish sets, and you don't know whether it will have plenty of staples or will be mostly archetype-specific or generic extender type cards, so you have to plan your strategy around making a deck that can be relatively consistent and do something well, even if you only manage to draft like 5 cards that directly work with your wincon, while also giving yourself the opportunity to really pop off if your draft goes super well. it's like a nice hybrid of the appeal of sealed and the appeal of normal deckbuilding strategy

Those that are against proxies official or not want to play against your wallet and not your skill, that's how fragile their ego's are and let's be honest, a majority of players don't plan on playing in official tournaments, this game doesn't really have prizing that makes it worth it.
