Good video Danny. I'm jealous of all that river fishing you've got! I'm definitely getting myself to the Wye in the autumn

Not come across any bob on my travels and not had any issues when piking the lower weaver with damage to baits, fingers crossed they dont start a march downstream!!

well you do suprise me, my back garden backs onto the weaver in nantwich , ive fished it for 25 + years , the last five gradaually getting worse due to crays , i ledger so that migt be the difference , i can hardly fish it now due to cray fish ,every cast im pestered by crayfish , the fish hardly stand a chance , its a great shame , ive caught some great fish from the weaver , big chub ,trout , dace , carp etc but nohing is being done abot the crays , its a crying shame .

sounds terrible bob, in fishing otters and crayfish get a lot of press and i do get questions on my thoughts on both but to date i have not fished waters with them in to truly comment. what you have said above, on the lower bit, would cause huge issues as there are loads of people fishing the river on ledgers for carp and bream. Thinking about it though i normally pop my pike baits up so they could well be there for all i know. ive not heard anyone talking about them though. sounds asolute nightmare bob
