I really liked this video, it’s reading in 1/2 days and I haven’t started packing yet 😂 you definitely seem a lot more put together than me but I really like the chilled style of your videos, I’m watching them while I get my room ready to pack, I’m not sure if you have enough time to answer but do you take clothes you really like with you? I’m worried about ruining clothes that were relatively expensive and some of my favourite pieces, I went to reading last year but for undisclosed reasons I didn’t really get to experience it/enjoy it/remember it x

I think I shall probably wear doc martins the whole time even tho it doesn’t really fit with the half-hippy/half-skater Bristol thing I’ve got goin on but means I won’t need to bring wellies. I just had to order a portable charger on same day delivery bc I completely spaced 😱🙄😂 thank you for reminding me about aerosols and glass bottles or I would have gotten myself in some trouble ❤️
I used to go to Reading festival in the late 90s and early 00s. I would take a tiny fraction of the amount of stuff you're bringing. And now I feel old.
You’ll be okay, just expect to be dirty, feel gross and drunk (if you’re over 18) 😂 but also expect to honestly have the time of your life, you won’t forget the memories you make and all the new friends you’ll make to, you’ll have the time of your life! Ehehe And aw OMG thank you so much!! ❤️ xxxxx
NWBloke2008 hi, I was just wondering about bringing ID to reading to get in. It says to bring identification and not a photo or copy and as I am only 16 it narrows down my options to birth certificate or passport, both of which id rather not take with me. Do you, or anyone, have any tips to get away with not bringing valuable ID with me.
Theo Warren I would suggest maybe bringing an old passport so losing it is less of an issue. You may have to check online if it still counts as valid ID if not then you may just have to be careful about bringing your genuine passport. You could apply for a provisional license or national insurance card if your 16.
Samantha Miksztal they can be intimidating if you’re not used to it! But the best thing to do (which is what I do to) is just go close enough to see the performance but stay back a little bit so you’re not in any mosh pits and that way you avoid the pushing and stuff, it can be scary 😭 but just stay where you feel comfortable and to be fair staying back a little bit means more room to dance 💃🏻🤷🏻♀️😂 xxx
Also, my friends have been for 3 years now and have completely advised against taking a suitcase but rather a DofE style rucksack. Why do you think a suitcase is better? Xx
I’ve been 5 years and I always take a bag, which is a great idea if it’s going to rain because it will be too muddy for a suitcase but every time when it’s been dry I’ve regretted it because it’s easier to push something than it is to lug and carry something that weighs more than you 😂😂 xxx
last year me and majority of my friends brought a bag and we all died you don’t anticipate how heavy it gets. My friend brought a suitcase and she was loving life so this year I’m doing that and would recommend it x

Only if you buy the seat of luxury which is like £30 for the weekend and loads of snack stuff!! Like cereal bars, crisps, biscuits, pot noodles and stuff x
