James changed the game and did experience some racism. I’ll never forget the nastiness his family experienced at Southwick. He will always be known as the “fastest ever.”

These guys are talking about his whole career. James was the most dominant amatuer rider in history, then moved into the Pro's and had similar success. Sure things slowed down at MX1 level, but he was still hugely successful.

Still found his way to Suzuki to win yet again. Battled injuries and all he sent it harder took some punishment I understand if others won more but ya Bubba changed the game.

Just get a black guy into anything that's considered white and once he has the support, he's gonna turn that shit upside down and inside out. The Yamaha wasn't his best years. Look him up on Green or Yellow.... he was incredible on those colors.
