Just as fantastic of a performance as I remembered. I was sitting right next to you when Bryan called you up to sing. Nice meeting you and had a lot of fun jamming that last night 'til about 4 AM with you, your wife, Jake Workman and the rest of the folks!
Hey John, I love this song & will have to check out Pete's other songs... I'm curious what your other favorites from him are if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!
@@roamgI really like My Kentucky Dream, Coleen Malone, and Tennessee 1949 to name a few. The albums Tennessee 1949 and Dixie In My Eye, with Bill Emerson and Pete Goble, have a lot of great tunes with many at least cowritten by uncle Pete. All those are great and I love hearing him sing on those albums.
Being from East Virginia and living in the Richmond area, I've always loved this song.

thanks Brandon, we had such a great time hanging and jamming too!
Pete Goble was my half-Uncle, and cowrote this song. This is one of my favorites from him.
Man, he and Leroy Drumm co-wrote so many absolute classics!
Nice job Roam!

Roam, you sound great!
Thanks John! It was really cool to get to sing one with these two guys holding it down and with Michael on the harmony.
