    Thank you for such wonderful video Megan, please tell me how to manage symptoms while driving. My symptoms exacerbate while driving. And driving is something I can’t quit because of work.
    Past 2 years in my life have really been stressful, and my symptoms started after a panic attack in the car. Above that im a highly anxious person. Will meditation work? Or anything else you can suggest.

    • @Megan_Jennifer
      @Megan_Jennifer  Год назад

      It’s interesting that your symptoms started after a panic attack in the car and now symptoms are worse in the car!
      It’s likely your brain has formed some kind of association between the car and symptoms.
      And I’m afraid to say this, but the only way you’re going to get better in a car is by putting yourself in that situation and doing some deep belly breathing/meditation!
      You need to begin teaching your brain that you are safe again. 🤍
      At first, you do not have to drive!! I recommend to simply sit in the car and do some deep parasympathetic breathing.
      Let your body adjust to the idea of being in the car first!
      Then you can slowly drive a short distance, cultivating that feeling of safety, and then you can start to increase the distance.
      I hope that helps ! ❤

      Hello! I can’t give medical advice of course, but I will give you a few reasons why caffeine may not be the best thing to include whilst you’re healing…
      Caffeine is a stimulant which can increase the heart rate and nervous system activity! For a system that’s already over sensitive, might be best to avoid.
      It might also disrupt your sleep cycle.
      Once your body is less hyper vigilant, maybe add it back in!

      Only thing I know is exactly when it started and it was after I consumed too much alcohol and vomited all my fluids out and went to the ER

    how do we use neuroplasticity to heal from this? i know we should try and focus on associating with the symptoms in a different way like not be afraid of them but its hard to do that when you are experiencing it because it isn't funny or something you can get up and move on from and just resume to your normal activities and instead of looking at the symptoms in a different way i just want them gone and to be sypmtom/ sensation free? is that thought stopping me from getting better?

    • @Megan_Jennifer
      @Megan_Jennifer  Год назад

      Unfortunately that is the way out! Changing your responses to the symptoms is very important for healing. Of course this won’t be possible all the time because we’re only human and sometimes we get angry or sad! And that’s okay… Just allow yourself to feel it and move through it.
      But yes, try to attach different emotions to the symptoms now.
      Knowing that there’s nothing physically wrong with you, your dizziness is just trying to keep you safe.
      Any time your symptoms increase in the moment, do the parasympathetic breathing and turn your attention to what you were doing.
      I have a lot of information on neuroplasticity on my website! ♥️

    • @mindyli5974
      @mindyli5974 Год назад

      @@Megan_Jennifer so a gist is try to do "normal things" and when you face a sensation or symptom you should sit down observe it and tell your self it is not harmful and just a sensation and calm your mind through parasympathetic breathing and this in all makes you look at the symptoms not in a fearful way and is what neuroplasticity is?
