If you go to the area that had a kitchen, piano and the bookshelf, go to the toad statue and look up and to the right. See what happens. Then jump in the pipe. The area doesn't have any red stars.
If you go to that unfinished area and look up right near the toad statue you will go to the corrupted version. Go into the pipe from there and theres a maze with a glitched wall. I'm not spoiling what's behind that wall but you'll like it.
