quite special, there are not enough of these old films. I was 6 years old going to Milson school when this was filmed, my Nana lived in one of those houses pictured from on top of the bridge. Now I am 64 watching a scene that I would have been in many times a lifetime ago, thanks for posting this!
that car going through the intersection of Rangitikei and Featherston streets at 27 secs is absolutely almost hauntingly awesome. That real actual moment in time and the driver never to know he/she is going to seen many decades later going through the intersection by at this point a minimum of 1200 people 59 years into the future.

There use to be a cross on the clock?!??
Yeah it was on there right up until they added the extra bit on the top around the early 2000s I think.
