Hi, hope you are well. Please advise: I am about to get on a new CoS, on a different job on the SOL; I have not been contacted by HO since May when I began needing a new CoS; my Brp still shows my visa valid till 2026. Now, I intend not to make known to my potential employer that I had lost my previous CoS just to position me in a good position to negotiate. Is this wise & ok? Pls advise. Also kindly advise me on the switching process and when I can resume work with my new employer/if I can start working with them immediately. Thank you very much; and thank you for this platform(just to mention: you are good at your work & I have been publicising you)
Can a skilled worker visa holder apply for “15-30 hours childcare support which comes under “free childcare if you are working on gov.uk website”” it’s for the child less than 3 years old. if both parents are working and meet the requirement? Would it affect when they apply for ILR after 5 years that they have been getting benefits or something. Hope I have explained my question 😊

Hi, Hope you are doing good. I am a skilled worker (Biological Scientist) working with NHS. I applied skilled worker visa under Health and care worker category as my employer is NHS. Currently I am planning to start a company in UK in my 20 hours of additional work. I can see we can work for 20hours for own business in skilled worker page in gov.uk. When I checked Health and care worker page it does not say anything about starting own business in extra 20hours time. Can I start a business on my own domain and can hold founder shares with my current visa? Please advice! Thanks in advance!
Is there a minimum salary requirement for a self sponsored visa? I mean you have to pay your own self a salary from your business and does it has to meet the minimum salary threshold of 37800? And lets say i partner with two other friends to open a restaurant and we all aim to sponsor ourselves through that restaurant, do we all need to pay ourselves the minimum threshold salary of 37800 yearly?

For the 20 hours supplementary employment, you can be only a Salaried employee with any employer
