If the H3 can be set to all bands or GMRS, does it even matter which version you get, HAM or GMSR? What are the advantages of getting one version over the other? Thanks
As best as I can figure... (I bought the GMRS one) I am guessing the GMRS radio comes with a GMRS tuned antenna and the HAM on comes with appropriately tuned antennas for it. The radios themselves, I belive, are identical. And of course you can always buy other antennas to attach to them.
I don't believe the bluetooth on the H-8 is for wireless connection to speakers/mics... just for programming connections to their phone app. That is how the H3 is... bluetooth is not for audio only programming.
@@yungsmile7546 lol. of course, useless factory "protection" film was removed. But PC\acrylic plastic is VERY SCRATCHY. It`s not gorilla glass =) I covered my screen with ORACAL 630 permanent film.

No, what you are scratching is a second screen film that you need to remove. Once you do you will find that it is very scratch resistant.
