Here are some of my tips: -as said, save, save, save! I cannot stress this out, later on there will be a ton of cut scenes and very limited save point! -now there is blood, if you see a bloody screen border, this means you are in critical HP -partners can be switched by holding the R2 button and move the directional pad (or left stick I think) to the party members and you will switch between them. -get used to blocking a lot as there is not much parrying (or the parrying mechanic is difficult to use in this), there are times that the enemy will break your guard but at least it's not a massive damaging blow. -if one of your party member/leader is KOd, don't give up! You just switch to your chosen party member and vice verse if he/she is also KO'd. There is a revive cooldown period (see timer on the KOd party member) before they can get back in battle with 50% of their max HP. Be warned excessive KOs will require more cooldown time for recovery!!! Enable a travel points if you see them and use them to your advantage to cut down on travel time. -each player has different play styles so choose one to decide for yourself. Use sacred arts for defensive only, offensive, or a mix of box, it's all endless possibilities! -if you travel with a new party member, be sure to check their equipment and stats as well as their passive skills and abilities before you head out to battle! -of course enjoy the game, it will be a massive chapter 1 but it will be smooth sailing afterwards with the remainder of the story.
@@Shezy_ You must have just started. There are grey posts driven into the ground, with purple sparkles of light rising from them. You can't save until the game initially shows you how to do it
@@Shezy_ also, grind out your levels. Do as many of the side quests as you can reasonably complete before you advance your story. You don't want to be under leveled in the later chapters
The fall damage tip really helped. First time i jumped off a cliff, i took damage equal to half my health. Next time i jumped off a cliff i survived with 1 HP and after this i just thought "okay, i almost died so try not to jump from too high"
Good video with good tips, I'm about to fight chudelkin. My game crashed during a cutscene and I hadn't saved my game for a while and got sent back a ways so I also can't stress enough needing to save often. Also didn't know about the hitting a single target, thanks brother
Here is my tip... READ THE SKILLS... You can seriously boost your damage by simply understand what does what and when to use it. For example. When your fighting that lvl30 turtle in the mines when it does the shoulder dash use vaporal strike to instantly break its gaurd. It does the move pretty frequently so you can break its gaurd WAY more often. Especially if your fighting it low level like at about 19-20ish. Tip number 2. When fighting an enemy.... Know your limits. If an enemy is within 5 levels of you then you can fight but if its any higher its best to just run away and grind for levels a bit. There is no shame in a jojo style tactical retreat. This tip will save you a giant amount of time... The 5 level rule is there because anymore and EVEN IF YOUR GOOD ENOUGH TO KILL THEM... It takes so ungodly long its just not worth the effort
In reality, you can pretty effectively take down enemies say, 10-20 levels above you if you just spam sacred arts from a distance, hazard/break an enemy, then spam skill connects until you get super arts; if you have a level 3 or higher chain burst it does insane damage. Takes just a little bit longer but you can get a lot of skill points, weapons, materials, and easily. It's also just more fun to take on a big boss a lot harder than you.
there also a bangle of life that u can get at the blacksmith next to abyssena (all u need is 3 chunk of snowsilver and 1 redstone) stats are Neutral, STR 13, MAX HP 2600, battle instinct+ i stacked it with the scarlet insect charm my current level is 16 and my HP is 9924
5:53 For your partner using weapon you didnt unlocked or learned skills with is only usefull for you if you want to control them. They have their own sets of skills that you may not see, for example Sinon is using "Sonic Focus" skill i think is what it's called... anyway a skill that i have NOT unlocked with the bows yet , and on her page that skill is not present anywhere, but she uses it. It might be corresponding with their levels and the proficiency of their weapons dictating which skills they are using or not. The only benefits for them would be the passives you can give them and the buffs they can apply.
I really don't see the point in getting damaged by water or falling if there is no negative reason other than if you fall and get damaged you might fall in a mob of monsters, or if your health is low in the water you might get attacked in the water or just coming off the shore?
I'm at the academy when my options have semi auto battle's I see some cool combo's pulled off, when I turn it off and use square to attack I can't see those cool combo's weird?

@@okpyxz Yeah, this game punishes you when you spam attack buttons. You can't cancel attacks with dodges/dashes. You can cancel with guard though but it has a threshold before you can't cancel the attack animation anymore.
@@okpyxz Dash works by pressing the attack button when away from enemies. You can also use the aerial attack button but it uses some of the gauge. To dodge, you use the aerial attack button then the direction you want to dodge.
weapon bond gives your weapon a % dmg bonus and sometimes a bonus stat. And to lvl up proficiency faster you must play with the character that has the weapon you need to lvl up (ex : silica for dagger).
