The glitch you mentioned during turn in descent - that's an actual environmental phenomenon, condensation formed as the air above the wing lowers temperature and pressure in humid or moist conditions - usually you can see it on wet days at rotation on take-off, it's a very cool effect and glad to see it reproduced in XPlane!
Jeff u have to get the 737 800 zibo mods it's free and it's amazing
I have it
Hey Jeff, I remember watching your flight simulator videos for the first time. You helped me to fully realize my passion for aviation. I just wanna thank you for all the help you have provided me with! Once again, great job on the video!
a lot of these comments are driving me nuts, like the comments section isn't a search engine.
yes. I'm happy u came back out with the videos
Man, you clearly put in a ton of time learning this stuff. Just knowing the FMS puts you leagues ahead of many simmers. As a 737 driver, I'm impressed.
TO thrust reference would refer to the limit on the FMS matching the EIS gauges. The limit is based on the temp and the derate setting (TO1 or TO2). Also, both would match the performance numbers provided by the dispatcher.
pirahna432 he's an actual pilot tho
Vietnam_ History A private pilot. Big difference. This level of proficiency with advanced aircraft like this takes a lot of study and practice.
That push back was so funny imagine Jeff being your pilot and listening to him in the cockpit 😂😂😂
?
Excellent in every way! Looking forward to the B767 Cold & Dark startup. Thank you.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the lifestyles of the rich and famous, don't forget your caaalculator"
Thank you for flying into my home base. Many flight simmers here on RUclips don't seem to want to fly into DFW even though it is a wonderful airport to fly into
I love the vids sooo much your my favourite RUclipsr my friend plays xplane and so downloaded it and love it thanks for being here
loved the video Jeff keep up the great work have a nice day
I am happy you brought back Xplane. I started watching daily in April 2014 when I saw you doing FSX. Thanks for helping me through a lot of tough times.
-Chadeo
Yeah me to
Mind blown I just put together you are Chadeo. I have seen you in the comments Chad forever! Love hanging out with you on the streams bud.
I am always hyped when I see these in my sub box :D
hell yea ive been waiting. watched a ton of the old ones
Jeff Favignano- What you thought was a glitch was actually a condensation cloud formed by the Prandtl- Glauert singularity otherwise known as a vapor cone. Condensation caused by the Prandtl-Glauert singularity can be seen in steady level flight usually at low altitude under humid conditions.
This contrasts with the situations associated with lift and vortex generated condensation where large accelerations (due to maneuvers) are required.
The characteristic shape of the cloud can also be used to distinguish this type of condensation from ordinary low-subsonic condensation
YAY new x-plae 11 video! I love xplane
Awesome video. Looking at acquiring the 767. Not sure I should do it yet till I practice and study a little more. It takes a bit of knowledge and skill to do these flights.I respect what you do Jeff.
Thanks man, I really love this airplane and only had a couple issues that were user error.
I love seeing pilots wave. That's how you know they love their job, and they totally understand the love other people have for planes, because they love them too.
Great video Jeff! I need to return to flight simulation and Xplane11 looks great!
Hey man thank you! I love your videos by the way, the quality has gone through the roof.
Thank you !! Nice to hear that.
Great to see the XPlane vids coming back! For future reference ELOEL intersection is pronounced LOL.
Glad to see another video
I was watching some of ur older xplane videos wanting a new one, thank you
Absolutely love this!
Awesome Video Jeff.
Dang it Jeff! Awesome video but you used the wrong side of the bridge. You would've collided into on coming traffic. And you pulled into terminal B. Only regional planes park there such as ERJ/CRJ. D terminal would've fitted the 767 perfectly. Either way I'm just happy to see another X-plane video from you!
was just going to comment the same thing
Great video as usual Jeff I'd love to see a 777!
Great Video Jeff!
This is soooo nice to watch :)
I missed X plane! Awesome man
Nice vid Jeff keep it up
Please play more Xplane and I love your videos man!
Yesssssssss about time
Yes! Please more xplane videos
Jeff, GREAT video . Just like your GTA5 videos. Keep up the good work!
NIce vid! Those are default clouds huh? Cool!
Finally u do xplanes
Jeff, you're the best. Also lol, I was flying a 747 from EWR to Washington DC... The runway was short asf! I'm not a pilot so I didn't know xD
It's about time X Plane 11!
Love all your videos Jeff you inspired me to get my pilot license
Great video!
Great flying. Dallas my hometown
Jeff great flight I enjoyed it and learned a few things. I have this same airplane and I wanted to mention that my altimeter buzzer doesn’t appear to be working When within a thousand feet of set altitude. Do I need to set this feature? Thank you 😊
Awesommmeeee video
Love the 767
DC-10s are my favorite
There is no white nav light on the rear tail cone on the 767. Only on the trailing edges of the wingtips. Inaccurate, but still a good video. 👍🏻
I was wondering what is the best controllers to get for explain your rotor control and so on please let me know thanks
I'm subscribed and I liked your video
Great Vid Jeff.. Please do more xplane
Really, Really, Really, Really, Really good job
I wish I had the time to watch the entire video but at least I'm still able to watch take off and landing :)
Very nice presentation
please upload more xplane! loving every video!
Cole Young agreed
Can you do a short tutorial on X-Plane 11 on how to set up a flight plan and use the fmc etc? Great video as always
You can put VNAV and LNAV because you already set your FMC. That way it will just follow the FMC.
Quick question. How in the darn tootin do you start this thing. I do manage to get both engines started, but then I get an engine fire everytime in both engines. If I keep this up I will have no virtual passengers anymore. Any suggestions.
Don't start both engines at the same time 😉😉
beautiful landing
Jeff you put that plane into Terminal B for American Eagle. I would have taken it to Terminal D which was one more Teminal down.
Butter
swiss001?
Jeff, in order to arm the spoilers without having them be deployed, is to just click on the handle. Adjusting them with the mouse wheel is your problem.
Do more, great vid
Calculators? Never actually heard that one on a real flight... Excellent flight as usual buddy, well done.
Would you do a flight from Florida to San Juan Puerto Rico?
Fun fact: most air to air American Airlines comericials where shot in my hometown of Waco TX.
sir ,I really want to know what a kind of computer can run this xplane11 like your vedio?
I keep a nose wheel steering lock switch on my yoke. I Do ToGa, 80knrs nose wheel lock to use rudder on T/O
Ya really buttered that bread on the landing!
Amazing Landing! *clap clap*
What setup do you have? I have fsx steam and its pissing me off. I would love to have x-plane 11 instead but I don't know where to get started
Jeff....AWESOME channel man. I’m new to X Plane 11. Instead of imputing the flight plan to the FMC box, which is cool to learn once or twice just for the hell of it for a newbie like me who just wants to fly, can I input a “quick button” just simple flight plan already done for me? Like ORD to Milwaukee for example and it’s all,in there? Waypoints, ILS’s, all that good stuff? Where I can manually take off/land and use AP in between? Quick start of sorts? Like the iPad RFS flight sim app?
Did you ever have the ground shaking ? And how to fix it ? Thank you
I would love if you would post a list of vendors you have ordered scenery and planes from. I just bought my FSX deluxe and want to build it into something special. Love your videos and keep it up. Do you have a web or e-mail for questions?
nice landing
when you armed the spoilers and the warning was saying your spoilers were extended. i noticed they were actually extended by just a little bit
I think you switched to APU On but didnt switch it over to start. No ignition no APU start lol I also could be talking from my behind hahah
Jeff can you bring back the old intro? I really liked it alot!! And I also love xplane! Keep it up man
Hello, excellent, I have a problem with X Plane 11, I installed it, it works well, the problem is in the shadow that the plane projects on the runway, it seems that the edges of the wings that are projected on the floor are staggered or with teeth , the shadow is not a continuous line like that of the wings, it is projected on the ground with steps or like a saw to cut, how can I solve it? I have: I7-8700k processor, an MSI Nvidia
Nice vid
Wow nice landing
How did you do the flight planning what website
Jeff ...incredible
What does setting the altimeter to 2993 do? Also, do you have your private and/or commercial pilots liscence? Have you ever truly flown aircraft like this? Thanks! Love these videos keep it up!
Changing the altimeter to the local pressure gives you an accurate reading of your altitude/elevation. Otherwise, you might actually be higher (or lower) than your instruments are telling you. Above 18k feet, you use the standard (29.92). I agree, these videos are awesome. Thanks @jeff.
Hey Jeff, whenever you have the chance you should try out the 737 Zibo mod with the FMOD sound pack. Great vid as always!
Can you do a flight with Qantas? Please.
That destination airport is kinda like the new ramp they added at Fort Lauderdale International in Florida
Deon Parker yeah, that gonna be my first payware map im gonna buy, sure of that, I live near KPBI, but I love KFLL
+Jeff Favignano can you tell me how to get the JetWay over to the plane and how to open doors :D
Got this game and don’t meet the graphics requirements and it stills looks great
Finally!
Nice landing
I love going over the road in Dallas. I would go over the road in an American Airlines md-80 on my way to Ohio.
Nice looking plane
Hey Jeff I know you probably won't see this but I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to use the navigation equipment up and use it to fly?
Yo bro, awesome work, what cloud pack are you using for getting that speed effect??
And, can you tell me if i can run xplane 11 with the following addons
Xplane, world traffic 3, HDR lights, zibo 737, vmax 767, skymaxx pro, ortho4xp, airport environment hd, Reshade.
With the following specs
i5 8600k
16gb ddr4
GTX 1070 8gb
Can i run with decent frames with all those addons?
Raja Rajput all of your planes will run with flying colors on X-Plane 11 with your specs. I have a i7 7700K and a 1060 6 gig, and it runs fine, a few drops and crashed but not bad. I’m not sure about your other add-ons though, I would contact the company/ maker of the addons for support questions.
Those all will work except maybe reshade (haven’t used or tried to use it)
The iPad thing is sweet
Finally back to plane sim
Do you need to buy your own nav data to use this plane? I bought the A320 and was never able to use it because I couldn't install my own nav data.
I have always used the A350 because I can load in a flight plan. Also are there any other planes where I can load my own flight plan? Please help. :(
Every single payware airliner I have tried requires nav data. It is very easy to install. Purchase a Navigraph subscription for $5 a month, then go into the FMC data program and choose your plane. Hit update nav data. Boom
Shadez Entertainment thanks a lot :)
jeff, you set the apu on auto instead of start when you started to taxi in btw lol
hey Jeff, could you do a flight to from EGLL, to LHBP please, i would really love that :3
How do you get the blue pushback truck?
With better pushback I think
AWSOME!!!!!!!!
Could do a flight from gatwick (uk) to Lanzarote (Spain) I would love that
