    Sterling adds the AMSECO SSX-52S to the LYNX-EXT kit in this video. There are lots of choices for anyone wanting to add wired sirens to this kit. The AMSECO SSX-52S is one of the loudest, most popular of the choices that are available however. At 120 decibels and a bright, blinking strobe light, the AMSECO is hard to miss. This video demonstrates how to make sure that you connect it.

    I brought that model for my parents house. After I had them cancel there worthless local bugler alarm company they were using. Had a guy I knew, (who really knows alarm systems), rewire alarm the system for non alarm company use. I put one of those outside and it is LOUD! The police show up faster when it goes off now than when they had the alarm company. Because every neighbor within in a mile calls them to report the noise!

    How many items do you need to get the amseco siren sound ?
    Can you test the siren alone without the relay?

    Does that mean what type of transformer I'm using? I'm using a Honeywell 1361 and where would I wore the 2 siren to? Would I wire it to the 1 one?

    How can I connect it to my OSI alarm system for it to work?

    • @freddaniels8259

      Unfortunately we are not experts on the OSI alarm system. You would need to contact someone who deals with them. If it has a 6-12V alarm output, it could connect directly to those terminals.

    Can you add 2 ademco 747 sirens to a wireless relay I already have one wired I'm just wondering if you could had a second one

    • @SterlingDonnelly
      @SterlingDonnelly 9 лет назад

      Dillon Brock It depends on the power supply you are using for the relay. The 747s draw up to 400mA each and the 5800RL draws up to 100mA so as long as your power supply provides more than 900mA, you should be good.

    can you install Amesco SSX-52S to an existing SimpiSafe alarm system & how?

      +Ronald Boyd You'd have to ask SimpliSafe. We don't have any experience with those systems as they are proprietary to SimpliSafe.

    You should preview your videos before you post them. They are painful to watch.
