Thank you @AndreyKharlamov-Bilchir for suggesting this song. I went with this video because I forgot that you gave me a link and this one was on top when I searched for it. I hope you won't mind.
Our planet is so diverse, for those of us that are lucky not to be born in some barren or inhospitable part of it, a song like this that just shows the appreciation for the land in which you were born is so touching. I specifically love the line "At where the field gives birth to the dawn", if you have experienced a sunrise out in the country, this is a vivid description.
Precisely my thoughts and you chose the lyric I liked the most - it is such a lovely way to describe it. Once again, thank you for giving each song a chance, I appreciate it very much. ❤❤❤

Aleks, thank you for this. What a beautiful song and performance. I don't speak the language and this is nothing I would ever be exposed to or listen to, if not for your reaction video. It's one of the hidden benefits I've found of watching more than just Lucy Thomas reactions from reactors whose opinions and reactions I've come to trust and respect. There is so much beautiful music out there, and while understanding and appreciating lyrics can also be very important and impactful, so much of music is heard with the heart, and the heart knows what it loves. This was truly a wonderful surprise. Thank you again! --Jon
Thank you so much, Jon! Especially for the compliments! It is so very kind of you. ❤❤❤ I am glad that some like you have found songs/artists through this channel. My belief is that the real point of reaction channels is to learn about beautiful music we all may have missed. My exposure to this was also accidental and I very much enjoyed this song. I thought it a folk song, turns out it's an original by this band Lyube. If not for this channel I don't know who'd recommend this to me and I came to this by listening to Pelageya's version of Alfonsina y el mar, so go figure. 😊 I don't speak Russian either, but I can understand some of it, though the similarities between Russian and Serbian can sometimes deceive (same sound, totally different meaning). There is the advantage that when I have the translation, I can "feel" the original words "better" if they sound like the ones in my language. In fact, I only really speak Serbian and English, while my French is seriously rusty.
Thank you so much, Alex! Sounds like Russia has a beautiful countryside. 😊 Also, this song is so well performed, I think the voices added to the beauty. ❤
OMG, this was absolutely beautiful! And the lyrics though?? Poetry on a very high level. Just as her voice. Extremely powerful, almost piercing. Beautiful tone 🙂 Loved the bass voice(s) as well. I'm pretty sure I'd love to hear just Lyube as well. Beautiful reaction as always, Aleks! Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
Once again, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Everything about this performance was beautiful. I've found a couple more by Pelageya alone and one of those was even more magical,, but oddly enough not Lyube's original version. Thank you for giving this one a try - the more I find the more I'm enjoying myself and I'm very glad that I'm not the only one. ❤️❤️❤️
I gathered that she had recently become a mom (at the time of the recording), but I did not know it was a girl. A baby is always happy news.
Nobody can complain about the lack of variety on this channel :) I loved it. I have grown to like folk music more over the years, and this was a very nice example. I appreciate your genuine reactions and your sincere interest in music and its stories ❤
Thank you for another nice reaction! Believe it or not but this song has the authors and the music was composed by Igor Matviyenko the producer of LyubE (stress on the last syllable) group. But it's done so well that at first I also thought that it was a folk song. By the way Pelageya performed in Belgrade at Republic Square. The final song was 'Tamo daleko'. If you react to that it would be just great!
@tolun99 Thank you so much, Tolun! It seems I'm not the only one interested in hearing new things and discovering songs I've never heard before. ❤ I don't want to be either bored or boring, so something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, only without the wedding. 🤣
@@igorvereshaka8219 Thank you as well for such a lovely comment. Hmmm, so I guess I inadvertently chose sort of the original. 😊 Also, good to know how to properly pronounce Lyube (I tried, but my Russian is non-existent). Thank you for that, I mean it. As for Tamo daleko, if I can survive reacting to it, I will, but it might be a tad bit too emotional for me. I will do my best, though. Does she sing it in Serbian?
@@AleksReacts You can be funny, sincere, thoughtful and silly, haha love it. I like watching reactions to songs I know well, too because it is like reliving my first listen all over again. But discovering new songs this way is also fun. Keep it up ❤
❤ It is a really beautiful song, it evokes such wonderful images. No wonder it's an unofficial anthem. Thank you for watching the reaction and I am glad you enjoyed it. ❤
