Actually a lot of people get it wrong, when the papi is 2 red 2 white it should be when you're in first person. If you are in the gear view watching the papi, you should get it 3 red 1 white instead of 2 red 2 white.
@@frogscanthopnolastname but if you think about it. It depends on the type of aircraft if your flying first person. See in real life jf your landing the Boeing 747 since the cockpit view is much higher than a Cessna then they have to change position so it becomes 3 white and 1 red because for them that’s 2 red and 2 white. So it mostly depends on the aircraft and camera positioning.
I know how to butter, but you are literally the best one in teaching of PTFS, you made me butter EVEN better, all knowlage of PTFS we have now, you should deserve 1M likes bro.
I'm practicing to butter in first person with a crosswind, of course i ask my friend if he wants to spend a few minutes of his life to tell me if it was a butter but i haven't done a butter in first person with crosswind it is very hard but i'll keep practicing you made a good tutorial it helped people keep up the good work!
When landing in crosswinds like that, I recommend using the advanced controls. So you are able to use the rudder before the touchdown. In real life, if you do not use rudder during touchdown, you could go off the runway if you do not react in time. PTFS doesn't have that type of realism but I recommend advanced controls.
I recommend not attempting to make crosswind landings smooth (unless you are using airbus a330 as if you dont butter a330 you will be perminently banned from ptfs)
i generally approach around the shorter mountain, and also a tip, if you use his approach at the distance you're at from the runway papi lights are good between 700 and 600 feet
for irl flights, you want to exit your crab angle before touchdown and use the rudders to align yourself with the runway. ways to avoid crosswind landings is to either wait for winds to change or to change runway
if I am correct in real life you touch down your back wheels first in the crab and then use your rudder to straighten your nose to the middle of the runway
Ayo bro thanks for doing thia video, i watxhed this video yesterday but failed to land smoothly. Today i rewatched your vidoe and understood everything except the PAPI lights, and today did butter landing 2 times, but the 2nd time i landed smoothly 4 airplanes in the same driveway (there wasnt ATC) ruined my landing.
Also before ur flight also check the Atc tower to see the wind(if u got the game pass) if it is height then you will know if you have to crab your landing
Love your videos, I noticed in your video you have to keep changing the camera view in PTFS if you click "X" (on keyboard) it locks the camera angle which means it does not move during rotation and landing/approach.
Also for you legacy handling users the landing speed is around 34% - 24% or smth depending on your aircraft but if you fly fighter jets or the concorde the landing speed should be around 14% - 8%
actually once your middle gears touch down if you set your throttle to 0 you'll likely stall. the touchdown only finishes when your nose gear touches down, then you can reverse.
Also, landing in first person is too easy, just memorise the altitude of the runway at the airport you're landing at, and base it off of that. Also, don't put too much thought into buttering your landing, that isn't supposed to be your goal, in fact the goal realistically is to land more firm landings to have more runway space after landing. For me I never really think too much about buttering even in 3rd person, I just want to make sure I have a good firm landing.
I might be alone but press X for locked camera, Im being serious it will line your approach and landing up so well, it helps with the smooth and makes it so your centerlined, this is coming from a 3k min pilot
This helped so much,I have had a better landing than u with an a 330(ok tbh it is the butter machine with that🥵 tilt but cmon man i couldnt even tell I touched till the smoke)
now imagine doing this but way more complex, if you fail you could potentially injure or even get people killed, and you would loose your job AND its more stressful AND you have to do it like 3 times a day. that's what its like being a pilot
Bro while take off you need to set the flaps at 1 and while landing you need to set it on 2. This Logic is used in real life too because with full flaps less lift Will be produced
For all of y’all out there if you are on mobile or iPad, you pretty much just have to re-create the same steps put your throttle to 50 and then slightly pull up when you’re near a runway
the 100% best about buttering landings in a public server is to that you can show it off to the other players and it would eb even better if you could do good centerline + on touxhdown zone + eprfect falre + smooth, and youd be thinking in your mind "omg i hope someone sees this!" lol
I'm mobile but I’d say I'm kinda good at it, the Concorde (in my opinion) is the easiest to land smoothly but its hard to get to like 700 kts to 200 kts but I am learning and I'm getting better! 😁

ohh i see, thanks for the tip!
ima pin in just in case

No, that is not correct. The PAPI light's position is dependent on your Roblox character's position. NOT your camera.

Man you right;i always descent very smoothly because 2 red 2 whites means: *man u gonna do ryanair butter*

Dude swisscheese literally made the original video (he literally made it way before him and it has almost same lines bruh)
ik dude@@ARobloxKid1

i once did a butter in like bad crosswind.
Hi
@@ThatGamerGuy420 same!

Should you use advanced controls while in the air? like normally flying?
@@tam4rellnope, i mean if its easier for you then yes. but its not needed while cruising
I recommend not attempting to make crosswind landings smooth (unless you are using airbus a330 as if you dont butter a330 you will be perminently banned from ptfs)
Hoping they add live instruments soon, even the attitude indicator alone can make a huge difference in FPP landings.
SAME.
It won't be for awhile, but they might add a new plane with that feature in the future and then upgrade all the others
Agreed. They also need a tool to measure flare
*cough cough* they need an altitude AGL measurement and not an MSL *cough cough*
All I wish we had personal flight plan books for our avatars to use...
After watching your vids my landing had been better then ever thank you so much!

that doesn't work in this game though sadly cause wheels have no grip

Yo who cares man it’s PTFS
Happy 2,000 subscribers Asiathatboi!
Me coming onto landing in samui irl and gets bored piloting the plane: k, lets watch this, hope not boring
And it wasn't! Good job man 👏
Long time haven't play this game, you made this video now i wanna play again
Thanks it helped alot. Now i can land smoothly good vid 😊
Very helpful video! Thanks for sharing this!

IT WAS VERY HELPFUL THANKS
Dude you are the best you this video teached me about papi lights so thank you
Bro it actually worked thanks😁😁😁
Thank you for all the information! 😊
Also before ur flight also check the Atc tower to see the wind(if u got the game pass) if it is height then you will know if you have to crab your landing
The wind always changes just ask atc if they're online
you dont need to do that to survive a crosswind, the wind always changes and you can always sync to crab land
If you look on the thumbnail you can see he got a tail strike (i think im not to sure) Also Keep making vids i love them!
Love your videos, I noticed in your video you have to keep changing the camera view in PTFS if you click "X" (on keyboard) it locks the camera angle which means it does not move during rotation and landing/approach.
Ty for this tip
If you’re going to lukla(the smallest airport in the game) it is recommended to get the smaller planes in the game
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I FINALY DID IT!! :DD
i tried, nailed it THANK YOU
This helped me a lot for doing butters. It is a great tutorial thank you for making this or I would have been stuck with bad landing😃😀😄😁
Congrats on 1k
Idk why ive been playing this game for 4 years ik how to butter but i still like wacthing these how to vids

you helped me do alot of my smooth landings so tysm
I love the a340 bc its tilted gear it just looks so satisfying when you butter it
actually once your middle gears touch down if you set your throttle to 0 you'll likely stall. the touchdown only finishes when your nose gear touches down, then you can reverse.
Thanks Alot,I Hope it can make my landings better.

PTFS needs to add more old military planes and thx for the tips
It takes me a while to practice flair but now i'm good at landing
thx

We find this hard in a video game while pilots be doing it in real life 💀
For land speed throttle in the Concorde or other supersonic planes, set your throttle to 33 ish percent
This helped so much,I have had a better landing than u with an a 330(ok tbh it is the butter machine with that🥵 tilt but cmon man i couldnt even tell I touched till the smoke)
I have been buttering planes, Cessna Caravan to AN-122, only the free ones, the most recent one i buttered was the B757.
THX YOU SO MUCH MY LANDINGS ON MOBILE ARE SO BUTTER NOW
In the crosswind landing you landed a little too late you touched down on the latest of the touchdown zone
now imagine doing this but way more complex, if you fail you could potentially injure or even get people killed, and you would loose your job AND its more stressful AND you have to do it like 3 times a day. that's what its like being a pilot

Tysm for the advice!
thanks to this I just buttered a Cessna, tysm
really good flight plan with the romens 1 Yankee arrival
how do you make the plane tilt backwards in the air cause i cant really do it
4:14 i didn't know i could eat crosswind landings💀
It's a joke. Don't take this seriously.
Yo thank you for teaching!

why have i always sucked at buttering and the day i learn it myself this video pops up
I have an important question how do u camera angle to face the bottom of ur plane so u can see the gear and see how u landed
This helped a lot cuz u kept getting bullied for my hard landings
thank i very much my landing was bad now its good
mans teaching us how to land an airplane in case of emergency without us knowing it
I need some help
My gears constantly slam when I put my front and back gears on the ground even though I do everything right, any ideas?
GOATED VID!
If you do crosswind landing just use advanced mode and rudder
hey i have a question, is there a website or a discord with flight plans /approaches to all places?
If you’re on mobile just use a Ryanair plane since it’s harder to do literally anything on IOS.
I have a question: if you are on mobile is using advanced mode a tip for buttering better?
Thank you so much and I think you should do a ptfs date vid for like 10000.
good! now try buttering ryanair with the air setting thingy turned on :)
5:37 THAT WAS SO SMOOTH
Can you please tell me the number of flaps I should set for the Boeing 747/Airbus A380?
when im just about to flare my plane just keeps going higher is it because i forget to to turn on the flaps or that my throttle is too low?
I normally land with the papi lights like this: ⚪🔴🔴🔴
Its better for me to land on the touchdown zone and butter and it does work
"BUTTERRRRR!"
"BUTTEERRRRRR!""
"B-b-b-butter?"
You def gonna be a emirates pilot when u grow up, you deserve a Oscar with it 🎉

It really isn't mister roblox PTFS professional butter guy, this is so wrong. Stop playing roblox juast buy Xplane or msfs
Can you make a tutorial for other planes like the c-130 because it handles differently and it’s smaller
