Hi! I'm a beginning crocheter here. Have one wooble stuffed animal and a beanie under my belt. I was at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver last month and ran into a woman who was wearing one of your beer can hats. I asked her about it and she gave me your card and pointed me to your videos. I'm interested in this mad hatter hat mostly because the cans I want to use are the tall boys. Do you know when your pattern will be available? Thanks.
Duuude!! That is a great story, I am now FKN FAMOUS 🙌🏼🤷🏼♀️👏🏼👏🏼 So awesome, thank you. I saw her insta posts, I am so proud! Uhhh not sure when, but my basic pattern works for tall cans too. 💜💜🧜🏼♀️
@@bohemianmermaid Still hoping you come out with the pattern for this one in your store very soon! I've gathered 4 special cans so far and have to find two more to then start building!
I'm having a little trouble with this one...from what I can see, the top edge worked as you describe comes out to 102 stitches, while the top only has 90 stitches. I have watched & rewatched the tutorial, even counted the stitches you end up with on the top, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. Please help...
Hmmmm. Well the actual count is 108. That’s 14 per label + 4 per join (x6). The top should be 10 rnds, each increasing except rnd 6. Hope this helps, I need to finish the pattern, that’s where I usually put the counts.
My husband and his friend requested a hat like this when I said I was going to make friends wife and myself the cowboy hat. Those are done, now to tackle this one
The full written crochet pattern is now posted in my shop! Thanks to all who requested it, hope you have fun. payhip.com/BohemianMermaid
Thank you so much for sharing your hats with us. My son-in-law loved his Madhatter!
I love this so much!! I'm saving up beer cans now so I can attempt it soon. Thanks for tutorial!
This hat would look so cool made from monster energy drink cans

Can I use any pop and beer can
For this style you need a tall can 👍🏼 like 16 oz I think.
Ok cool thanks

Have you written out the pattern yet, to purchase?
Hey thx for asking! Not yet, but I will get that going and let you know. This is the only hat hubs will wear voluntarily 😎🤣💜
