What's with the thumping sound at the beginning and end of the review? It wasn't music and just made it difficult to hear what was being said until it suddenly stopped.
I totally agree, most people don't want to switch between iOS and Android, very refreshing to hear. Do you think the 6a has solved the connectivity and overheating issues from the 6/6 Pro, and is there any indication the 7 Pro will be a great flagship phone?
Don't know about the 7 Pro yet. I'm going to drop a gaming video which includes how the 6a handles heat, so we'll address that more directly. In my day-to-day, it's been fine. It does heat up a bit during 30 minute or longer gaming sessions.
Going to wait for the Pixel 7. I hear, like the 6 & 6 Pro, the 6a may have similar heating issues, and similar meh signal strength. Maybe those initial issues will get better with the June security patch that is rolling out. Since the 7 and 7 Pro are most likely coming out in a couple of months, and my 3 yr old phone is still running fine, I'll wait and look for Black Friday deals.

you cannot compare mid range phones that do not have the same size. A52 is way bigger than P6a, some people do not want a brick in their hands (btw P6a is quite big as a "compact" phone)

Don't...I bought the sage Google case for my 6 Pro and it looked like garbage after a month. I got a new clear case from Spigen and it still looks great (no yellowing as I've seen with prior phones).
I ended up wrecking my old Pixel XL (og model) by dropping it in the toilet at work yesterday accidentally (forgot it was in my back pocket, oops). Not too big of a deal because it was definitely showing its age lol. Anyway, I was comparing the Pixel 6a and the Samsung Galaxy A53 phones due to their similar price ranges when I came across your videos for both of them. Which would you recommend for someone who plays a lot of mobile games, wants reliable speakers and microphone, and likes taking pictures/using the camera fairly frequently? Any input is greatly appreciated. :)
And that’s the tough part about producing video as opposed to written stories. I only recently became aware of this bug AFTER the video was finished and submitted. It is something I’m watching now and depending on where the issue goes, we’ll look at putting out a Short, or some vid on our social channels.
And every brand has our have had there issues similar to this, Samsung is one of them, but no mention of them like how people go after Google pixel phones... 🤫

Uh, no. The google cases are weak and mine's already deformed due to thermal issues with the Pixel 6.

Do you find the cameras render realistic skin tone as well as the reg 6 and 6 pro do. In reference to POC
Need more time and variety of skin tones but I've been happy with the front facing shooter so far.

Mine will unlock with opposite thumb sometimes but none of my other fingers work. I expect this be fixed in ota. We'll see
