    Dear Sir,
It's amazing to see that you motivate and clear the doubts of many students through experimental videos based on physics concepts. I also watch your videos regularly. Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate your efforts, and please accept my request as an opportunity to clarify more about antennas.
When discussing TV antennas, it's important to note that they are typically parabolic in shape. This design allows them to effectively focus incoming radio waves onto a receiver, resulting in stronger signal reception. Parabolic mirrors indeed concentrate light at a single point, typically at their focus, making them suitable for applications like solar energy collection or telescopes. In contrast, concave mirrors may exhibit less intense focusing, sometimes resulting in the spread of light along the principal axis rather than at a single point. Additionally, when considering one-point focusing, parabolic mirrors generally cover more area than concave mirrors, except in cases where the size of the mirrors is significantly small.

Can you tell me how many degrees of the circle reflect to a point like the other?
This way I can just make a part of a bigger circle. Thanks.

So you can combine 2 types of mirrors - parabolic at the center and spherical at the sides.
What is the Formula of parabola?

Spherical mirrors are good for wide targets, like a solar oven.
You also missed the elliptical mirror that focuses sunlight to a point. Many car headlight reflectors are elliptical.

I know this is old but as not to mislead people an ellipse is a parabola. Elliptical mirrors are parabolic mirrors
