TheChristmas Eve countdown in the popular area of Orchard Road is dramatic! Your video footage captures the excitement of the people as time passes. You have also meticulously filmed the enjoyable performance happening on Orchard Road, and it gave us a sense of being there, as if we were walking along that place!☝️😊 Yosh and Iku
I look forward to Christmas Eve countdown every year. I see people of various races and religions coming together to celebrate the festivities, though not the Christmas message. Orchard Road was closed to traffic this year and pop up stalls lined this street. I managed to capture some interesting stalls and roving performances moving amongst the crowds. I am happy to have filmed and put the many happy faces and moments on record. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Yosh and Iku 😀
Thank you for sharing this festive Christmas Eve countdown. The crowd and atmosphere is incredible. It must be hard to get into the middle and filming 💜🌟🥳 Merry Christmas 🎄
This was a long night for me and I was happy to be there. I wasn't able to get near the stage as the road was packed shoulder-to-shoulder. On hind sight, my position was perfect as I was able to capture the people in front as well as behind me. I could feel the energy and the atmosphere was incredible. I am now looking forward to the next mega event... the New Year Eve Countdown 2024. Happy New Year Leila ❤
I get emotional every second with all this Christmas energy in Singapore colorful lights joy everywhere , l think It was what lneeded most , l love all the excitement of people , this desire to participate, lots of goods, things to see, , lots of emotion to be lived, excellent vídeo, great work, Happy Christmas, 😊🎄🥂
Christmas time is a joyful time in Singapore with colourful lights and decorations in shops and malls all over this tiny island. Christmas here is highly commercialised and I see this not as a bad thing. People of all religions come together to celebrate the festivities, not the message. In Singapore, we celebrate each other's religious festivals. Fatima, I wish you good health and happiness always. Happy New Year!
@@SingaporeCityWalks l understand , but l still believe that you can change everything when you want ,.. Thank you for the kind words , Have a great New Years!🤗🥂
Singapore is exciting but competitive. Have to keep moving or get left behind. Very tiring for the body and soul. I like the slower pace of life in NZ. The grass is greener on the other side, so they say.
The squeezing was challenging and I couldn't get near the stage close to midnight as it was really packed with bodies. The 'foam party' after midnight was a problem as I had to protect my camera from the sprays that came from different directions. It was fun though.

Nobody is watching what actually really goes on, as everyone is busy holding his or her phone up high in the air and filming.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Quite true. Haha!
@EGO0808 What do you mean?
