    Petite coronas and cigarillos are of definite interest. I remember what appeared to be "Lanceros" from Richard Boone's "Have Gun Will Travel", which appeared to be extra long Petite Coronas. Fascinating! Thank you for this video.

    Thank you very much for the great video. I have had a few bags of binder and wrapper leaves for a while, I am inspired to roll one now.

    Used your blend for my first batch of cigars. After they dried I tested one out and it reminded me of a hellcat. 2 weeks and enjoy them very much and might put a San Andreas wrapper on them. Thanks John

    Yes definitely still rolling:) I've acquired a few molds now for this size and am making them with a traditional cap as well. Hopefully will post more videos at some point in the future to show off new stuff.

    Great video. Simpler version of the "right way" to do it. I like this for most people that don't do this in production mode. Equal result but simple and straight forward.

    Instead of cutting and stacking multiple times on the filler, you can roll the whole thing up into tubes and then cut the whole bunch in half and overlap each half you just cut onto the other. That way you do it all in one motion instead of doing it over and over. Nice job though. I use a pizza cutter and rolling pin as well. Just be careful not to roll it out too much with the rolling pin or it will make the leaf thin and create tears/holes in it.

    David: where do you get your leaf? It looks like they are in good condition, flat and whole instead of dried clumps.

    • @davidwilson6453

      If you Google Whole Leaf Tobacco the first few sites to come up with give you lots of options for your filler, binder, and wrapper leaf. If you want to take a bunch of dried tobacco leaves that are not flat to a state of being very flat just spray them all with maybe one spray per leaf, leave the bunch in a bag for anywhere from 30-90min, then keep repeating until the leaves slowly become more pliable and can be teased apart and stretched out. Do not go overboard in misting your leaf early on. You want it to be just barely pliable enough to stretch out gradually, remove the mid-rib, and then finally stretch each half even more and set aside. NOTE: Do you prepare too many leaves in too high a case for too long. Storing very wet leaves for even a few days can start creating mold problems and/or just disintegrating the wet leaves into something like tissue paper in the rain. Keep everything on the dry side (like it was shipped to you) until ready to use.

    hi i'm from vietnam, i love cigar. I want to ask you a question expecting your feedback. how to make handmade glue? Thanks u..!

    • @davidwilson6453
      @davidwilson6453  4 года назад

      I use fruit pectin because it is readily available at the stores here in US). I have seen others use gum arabic (derived from the Acacia tree), guar gum, tragacanth gum, or even tapioca ground fine in a coffee grinder, etc. All these can be mixed with a little warm water until you have the consistency of honey. You will have to experiment and see what works for you. Just google cigar glue and see what comes up.

      David Wilson David Wilson Can I make friends with Facebook to talk more about how to make a cigar? Can you share more about brewing cigar leaves from harvesting in a tree until you can use them to make cigars?
      (P/s: In fact, I don't know English and I'm using Google Translate to talk to you, if anything is wrong, please understand. Thanks for your enthusiasm..!)
