wow. after hours of searching, reading, scanning forums and watching tutorials, your video was the only one that actually helped me re-apply some building textures to a per-existing mod. Thank you.
Hey, letting you know how freaking useful that was. Hours and hours of Tutorials on modding, but nothing really covers this and brings it so crisp to the point. Chapeu, my friend !
I don't know if you know how happy you have made me and other with your work. It is amazing what some can build with a computer. I am 58 and you have certainly brought a smile to my face. Thank you for all you do and please don't stop. But if you do pass the knowledge of how to do this on man.
Love it brother your the coolest modder out there love everything you do for the console players you gave us hope for realistic maps and for the country folks love it 💪💪
Thank you so much good sir for the amazing tutorial! I am trying to release my first mod, and I was having trouble with textures, and this tutorial helped me fix them and do them right. Thank you sir!
Really great tutorial! Unlike many others kept it simple but actually covered all of the relevant information! Particularly the error exporting textures to giants editor
Just installed blender today, then came across your vid. It was very helpful. Would be cool to see some more tutorials. An I love your mods, can't wait to see what else you come up with.
Love this! Need more of this. I want to make an entire pack of US Ag buildings and release them. I would like to put some automation in them as well, like moving grain, swinging gates, so on and so forth. Any suggestions would be cool.
what if i wanna work with a gloss map and a normal map as well, do I already add them in Blender or do I just make an exapt copy of the diffuse/albedo map and set it up only via the i3d/giants editor ? that's actually the only question left haha. great stuff !
hey man nice video, i learned alot my question is, so im in blender, i just built a whole sectional pusher for a skid steer from scratch, its like a box plow, i modeled it after the pro tech fusion edge, now i can obv throw some colors on each big part but imy question is, like those little udmi pictures that have all the parts from a mod, unwrapped, inside of it, how do i make those in order to texture my piece, like i see in the video you have a picture, with a few different types of wood in one, how do i get from basic solid plow. next step is what.. find images online of the model i went after and drag the pieces into each colored section?
@@seal.team.six.sealcoating716 so I make my own textures from scratch but what you are probably looking for is an unwrap and then a texture bake. I would look up videos on texture baking that might help you out a little more
I have another problem. I managed to put together my "shed" that I made and applied my textures. Only one texture of aged wood all around the shed but when I export the shed as an i3d into my folder the "Textures" folder doesnt appear and I cannot change my path to it in i3d notepad++.. What have I done wrong?
hey bud nice video! but i have a problem, when i export it from blender to id3 and open it in giants edditor all the windows and stuff are all over the place... and when i tried to move objects its really glitchy. can you help me?>
There is something wrong.. Whenever I do the cut to drag the wall in another direction, I can no longer select that face. Its only a white line on the edge... How do I solve this?
@@thewildernessstudio4371 Now I have another problem. Giants i3d exporter does not work on any version. I have tried 2.80, 2.81, 2.82 and the latest 2.90. It doesnt show up and if it does it says its version 7.1 and needs to update.. I cant export my sheds now... Please, do you know what's wrong?
U were just talking like i couldnt do anything with this tutorial bcs it was too fast and u didnt explain 90% of stuff like on the begginning how to split the wal and add that to sides

Really great tutorial! Unlike many others kept it simple but actually covered all of the relevant information! Particularly the error exporting textures to giants editor

Great first video mate, will be looking at havin a crack on the weekend, what programs do we need to start modding please
You will need at least version 2.8 of blender, at least version 8.1 of Giants Editor, Paint.net, Notepad++, and the Giants I3d exporter Blender add on
nice work bro thanks
Thanks so much CJ

prob confusing qustion but to simplify, in this video act like you had no images to texture them what is your next step
how did you make the photos you used to texture this

I like this house actually, just a door and a front and back window would be nice
Can you make a tutorial aboit moddeling in blender
do you know anything about your dodge flatbed your working on?
Which i3 addon mod did you addd to blender? I can only get the add on to work if I use the blender version 2.79
Fancy pants!

Can you do a similar tutorial for fs22?
it works the same for both its just some texturing and exporting works a little different but not to much
@@fishygames4598 Thank you
Hello! where can i contact you privately?
I can't get the Giants Editor Addon to work - it says I need 2.8x installed, but have 2.8 version... Anyone got any ideas?
There is something wrong.. Whenever I do the cut to drag the wall in another direction, I can no longer select that face. Its only a white line on the edge... How do I solve this?
You need to be in face select mode, press three on the keyboard to enter face select mode or click on the option in the upper left corner

Why can I walk thru my mod
Quite ironic that Giants tells you how to install the exporter but doesnt give you it.

What can I say? It was not that step by step tutorial….🤷♂️
