Who are we?
We're Tyler and Todd, a married couple from Canada that had been traveling across the USA in our self-renovated tiny house on wheels with our two dogs, Charlie and Eddie. We’ve been living full time in our RV since 2019 but we have dreams of building something a little bigger for our family...enter building our own home, off-grid in the Canadian FOREST! Join us every Sunday as we explore the world from an alternative living perspective...whether it's van life, rv life, or living in a tiny home, we're down for an adventure!
How did we get here?
After a year of full time travel living the vanlife, we had to adapt when the world changed. To keep busy we’ve converted our tiny house on wheels into a fully functioning off grid tiny house that has everything we need. Realizing that none of us know how long this new normal will stick around, we made the decision that building a home here was the best decision we could make. We've spent the last year doing EVERYTHING involved with coordinating and planning the build ourselves as well as setting up this off grid property to be able to provide us with the the food we'll need in the future. Hit with constant delays and building price increases, realizing our dream of building our own home has taken longer than anticipated. With travel starting to reopen again, we've learned so much about the importance of having a home base. and are excited to continue our build this dream here while also doing what we love most, exploring and seeing the world!

We just wanted to say thank you again for the support and positive thoughts sent our way these last few weeks. If you’ve ever had a dog, you know what their unconditional love and companionship means. Making the decision to bring Charlie home wasn’t an easy one but we’re grateful we did…he is by no means out of the woods but we’ve noticed some improvements over the last few days and we're hopeful that it continues so please keep him in your thoughts 💛

It's so emotional watching this even over a year later. I just want to reach through the screen and give you both a big hug and tell you that Charlie's going to be okay! He has many more adventures to come with you and Eddie 😭❤️
He is home. With his dads. In this moment… he is for sure in the right place for him. You guys are amazing - i can’t even imagine this pain - but i am wishing good thoughts for Charlie.

I agree about liking but also agree that it is a form of support. Those two men and two boys need all of our support. Love and best wishes going out to them. It is hard for all of us to sit and watch. Please let us know if there is something needed. I’m sure so many of us are more than willing to help one of our favorite families.

Heartbroken. Charlie and Eddie got me through my dog’s passing and it sounds weird but I think of them often. If there is a Higher Power, I hope he/she is smiling down on him.
I totally agree. I lost my dog last January 2020 to lyme disease. It's heartbreaking.
I lost my 15-year-old Lab a few months ago. Watching Charlie & Eddie brings me so much joy.
Greg, having lost some Loved Ones I know there is a Higher Power. A couple of my passed Loved Ones have appeared to me. Have never spoken.

So glad you took him home. Stress is so damaging to our health. Being in his home with Eddie and both of you will help him so much - peace and love can sometimes work miracles. Lots of work for you but he knows and appreciates all you do, for sure.
I'm sorry but I actually cried whenever I'd seen him there with that IV in. I'm praying that Charlie fully recovers and I know if something should happen how much of a loss for you guys along with all your followers that would be. Prayers 🙏 for all of you

I know this is an old vid but I've been crying my eyes out. I know he gets better but still, it kicks ya guts in. The potential loss of a fur baby is one of the most heart breaking pains there is. It's all the more special to see him bouncing around in future vids.

I've lost 2 dogs and 2 cats over the last 10 years or so. Its awful, feels like losing a family member. Thinking of you guys and wishing him a smooth recovery!

This episode has me crying. I lost an amazing dog to Lyme's disease. She had ticks covered all over her when I got her from a trucker stop. I was able to enjoy about maybe 5 months with her, I got so attached and she acted like a professionally trained dog. She died while I was out of town and my hubby was home with her. He said she stayed by the window looking out like she was waiting for me....
Remember all the good times you enjoyed and how amazing you two are as father's to Charlie.
Our hearts go out to you Tyler, Todd, Eddie, and especially Charlie. Please take care of that fur baby, he couldn’t be in better, more caring hands.

There's not much harder than having a loved one be unwell. You guys are fortunate to have such great support.
i lost two cavaliers at christmas, within six days of each other. the heartbreak when our four legged fur friends are unwell is so deep. my heart goes out to both. I'm a human with lyme and wouldn't wish it on any living creature
Thoughts and prayers with you two, been through this and know how hard it is.

I know how y'all feel as we lost our kitty some years back. Most loving intelligent cat you could ever know. Once years before our loss, she got sick and threw up on carpet in hall which I had to clean up. Bless her heart(Guiness)acted so upset about it. It didn't bother me that much but it sure did her.
Our last visit to vet we all cried.
