We have a 3kg one on our narrowboat. Just perfect. It’s called a candy kg3 washing machine small and cheap and washes very well.
You have really made that boat your own.
With your panels is parrallel, you could find out how much of a difference the starlink has on the panels its shading. Get a DC Clamp METER. you just put the "clamp" around each panel wire and compare, you'll know how much each panel is putting out in amps ! Remember though, this is at 40v. or just a little less than 40v. So the current will be much less than whats going into your batteries due to something in the MPPT charger called a DC to DC converter.
I think that Nanji 2.0 has to be a huge game-changer. Your last boat seemed so small even for the two of you, so this one has to be so nice having all the extra space and the A/C. I couldn't live without A/C!
Mum is looking happy so Papa must be happy! Even though there was hair down the toilet! lol! Love watching you guys live your dream... Cheers Mates!
Hope you get your washing machine soon Bonita. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I heard about a superyacht that had satellite internet. One day their computer system, decided to upgrade itself to the latest version of windows, whilst still connected to satellite internet. About $2500 later, the install was complete.
As much as I like the Star Link for posting videos, I like it even more as another piece of safety gear for some of my favorite sailors! I'm glad Yosh didn't put any "drainage holes" in the solar panels while installing the Star Link 😉😁 Thanks for sharing.
Hello Legends!!! Another great episode of Sailing Nandji. Super stoked to see you get the Starlink installed. Thanks for sharing. Yew!
Really pleased for you guys that you’re able to afford the little things that make life easier..
Being connected to the outside world when on passage is an important Safety feature and we can get great livestream from you. Strange your Malaysian plugs are the same as Uk never knew that. Bonita you are looking so much happier since surgery.
All the very best to you all take care. Cheers
This My Heritage thing is a bit of a trap, meaning that when you really get into it is addictive and quite literally endless. I started this something like 25 years ago, and for about 15-20 years I just kept getting deeper and deeper into it. I confess to having somewhat lost interest these days, but eventually I ended up with a family tree with 40,000 (and counting) individuals in it, going back to around the year 800! It's like a stain that just keeps spreading because ultimately ALL of us are part of the same single tree! To my astonishment I found a family link that actually led back to Charlemagne, Charles the Great! You, too, can be a member of the nobility if you dig deep enough!
We have the sun power 380w panels. Keep an eye on the waterproof connections on them as ours have melted a couple of them
Amazing! We have Starlink on land as we love remote and it’s such a game changer
They are also the plugs we us in the UK also you have installed the socket upside well in the uk it would be considered upside down, cant wait to see you guys on the water traveling to the beautiful places safe travels ❤
Loving every minute of it! Pray for safe sailing, and frothing winds! Get going all you lovelies!
You guy's have a awesome life with lot's of Love. Very Inspirational ❤❤❤❤
just an idea.. get two 56 cell panels that are much lower power, much less wide, but fairly tall (its all in how they line up the cells). Put them in series and fill that gap. Long shot but you might be able to do it ? But, I don't think you'll find what you need so here's a better idea.
The other idea would be that, considering you run a chance as they are wide of hitting them, put them all in the center with gaps on either side of the array. That way, if you touch anything, (or someone else does) the panels would be totally on the inside, just the stainless on the outside would get rubbed. Your protecting your panels by pulling them inside closer together. That's probably the best idea. Either idea would necessitate drilling into that stainless and I know, its tough to work with. I had to get some really good bits, I got Bosch Bits.
Also, and this is really important. Get some silicon grease and put it on the gaskets that are inside the mc4 connectors and a little al over them. It will reject the water and keep it from the electrical connections, and it actually fattens the o-ring type gaskets inside. Give it a try, it will help.
Starlink - game changer well done with install Yosh! Looks like you all are ready to sail…bon voyage! ❤️🇦🇺🍻👍
Last minute preps all around in getting ready to go back to Indo! Starlink will be a gamechanger in many ways not least of which is the added safety for all if you! Good choice! Nandji II is so much better for your home. Lots of room for much better living. Can't wait to see the adventures comming!😊👍❤️
I used Starlink across the Red Sea to Langkawi and it worked great everywhere. It is expensive but worth the safety it is adding to offshore sailing. Guys how long you gonna stay in Langkawi ? I will be at RLYC tonight and happy to invite you for some beers.
Stoked to hear its worked well for you at sea!! Would love to have a beer with you but we are not in Malaysia anymore! Enjoy your frothy! 🙌🏼
Great to see you touching up solar and hooking up starlink is outstanding . Best with transit to Indo and excellent to see more hands on deck. Fair winds.
So happy for you guys to have starlink. Hopefully it'll save you time. Great episode guys. Looking forward to your next adventure 🤗💞
darlin you look great good fer you ........josh is ok too
Good morning Angel. Each morning your vision reminds me that I am still alive. You have a very positive effect on me. Thank you Thuong. 🥰🥰😍🥤😘😘😛😛😛😛😛😛💋💋💋💋💗💗⚘⚘⚘⚘
Bonita, I know you've been through a lot physically (mentally) lately. I want you to know that you look great. You have an inner beauty that overflows, and you are rocking that bikini.
Nice install and great news on StarLink install. During your show and explanation of solar panels, in the background sky there were SAR or SAG spraying of the sky in streaks. Geoengineering in Malaysia as well, just sad.
I love Bonita's new look. Best of luck to you and crew.
woohoo! solar panels are looking great, stoked to be able to collaborate with you guys. Enjoy sailing with the sun :)
Do you guys ever stop?!? 😂 Another great video. Love this boat! Happy to see you all happy 😃 Wishing you guys the best of everything always!! Safe Sailing 2.0!!
Another Great Episode! Things are really coming together for the voyages... all the best!!!
It’s a British 13amp plug, much better than that Australian rubbish. Well done on the starling system. Great system, but I hear it’s maybe a tad expensive per Mb?
Great channel, keep up the good work.
Bonita is gorgeous!
You definitely don't want to be sleeping that close to the router.❤
Just happy to see you guys doing well Starlink will be a welcome addition.
Your wall plug socket is upside down if liquid was to spill on the plug or run down the wire it would enter inside and short out I’m not criticising stay safe from uk.
Love it when you all go ashore to a beach .
I wish you all the luck. You're my favorite RUclipsrs.
Keeping it real!❤❤
Excited 2 see where U go next! Safe travels ❤
That Starlink is going to put a bit of shade on your solar panels
I saw your explanation after I posted this😂
Elon raised the price specifically for yachties with Starlink ! What could he be thinking ? Why would Elon need to raise the price of starlink specifically for yachties From what I've heard, the equipment is exactly the same as land based. So, why the higher costs ?
Superb episode
Looking forward to seeing more 😊
What you need now is a game changer of a bog brush..... 😜. Great episode fella's, very enjoyable, thanks.
That internet is like $200/mo! We better not skip your ads!
Why don’t you mount your radar to the mast
Turn on the radar, damage StarLink is a possibility.
You can always add power cable. It's only 3 leads.
If you can manage to afford the price that Starlink is charging for boats it really is a game changer. Working from the middle of the ocean becomes a thing. For small boaters the 250USD easy monthly charge and the 2500 purchase price might be be a deal breaker but if it makes sense financially it allows you to be connected. The old RV pricing was a lot more accessible for small boaters.
Really getting it together now.awesome to see.
I am a boater sailing the world with a standard dish and the old RV (now regional roam). Works like a beast. Just toggle priority data when connection is lost at sea and pay as you go. Monthly cost is 100 euros. Dish was 450. So, no excuses anymore. Start roaming. :-)
@@franckvandiest2829 Awesome that they haven't cut off your data. Hope it stays that way.
@@robertfontaine3650 they are cutting off my data. That’s why I then toggle on priority data and pay as I go. You are seeking a negative that is not there.
Hmm I think you need a better power supply for the starlink. you should check out the power supply's output and see what power routing (if any) is done to power the antenna (might be some milliamps), and just use DC. That will same some amp hours!
There will be no stopping you guys now powered up to the hilt ........
4000ah???? Really?
Rule of thumb is 2w Solar/1ah battery … BUT wind gen can also be an alternative!
U should just have gone with the smaller RV Starlink. Works perfectly on boats and much cheaper!
Good on ya….
Hi team. I see that you have Starlink. What dish are you using and could you please let me know costs. Would also be interested in what plan you are using. Thank you, Mike from NZ
Them are pommie plugs we have them here in UK
Bring on the washer
I have Starlink and love it. 👍👍👍
Wouldn't like to forget the dog on the beach
Bloody camouflaged well...
Those power plugs are actually English style :)
@19:00 Did I just hear, :
"The Toilet Captain?" lol
By the way it's not a Malaysian plug is a UK plug, also mounted your socket on upside down.
If it’s in malaysia - it’s Malaysian! 101 - who cares what they have in UK! If it’s in UK then its British.
Top
Froth LYFE!
Elton John just called and he wants his glasses back from the 1970s
I didn't know Malaysia uses british sockets
❤❤
No more hair down the toilet, you are bloody kidding mate, says the bloke from Wagga Wagga!!
Get her a washing machine, we travel in a caravan and I have a washing machine best thing ever,
@13:10; I hope your insurance company isn't watching... 🥺
That's a UK plug.
It’s a Uk plug.
🤘
Time for a washing machine 🎉. Happy wife happy life!
For a boat that size you should have a washer/dryer.....sorry mate !
English plugs used by Malaysia woo hoo!
extension cord fer power
Still need to change the plugs 🔌
Why do you take the labels off of the cans… inside the boat? Doesn’t that kinda defeat the point😮
Because they use the bilge as storage for canned goods, might get wet, ruin the label, then label blocks a bilge pump, insect infestations, qquite a few reasons
@@HighTowerAU they remove the paper because there might be cockroach eggs in the glue…makes sense to remove them, but not inside the boat, because then the eggs are…inside the boat.
the same as the uk plugs ???????
When are you guys going to hit India or Africa?
We set sail as soon as The boats Ready .. either early next year Jan/Feb or around May.
good to see CAPTAINS meeting about hair in the toilet, l gather.
Haha the ol Bananmas on a boat bad luck myth. Well there was a real fact. The truth about banannas on a boat.... in the colonial sailing days, theyd load ships up with banannas for trading and healthy food source. But as they slowly rotted the decompossing bananas emitted high levels of ethylene gas i think and when stored low in the boat where the sailors slept, theyd succumb to emitted gas poisoning.
😀👍👍👍❤
The new guy kinda looks like you yosh is he your brother or cousin
Aren’t you lucky… now youy can live just like you are on land (sarc). Netflix? Really?
Wait cool people have moms 😮
Good old joker valve Elon why can't you fix everything
a shi**y job
Those plugs are British type design.
