Restoration Old Rusty Axe

- Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this old rusty axe at flea market. I bought it because on the cheek of axe I found an interesting stamp.
Restoration process: As usual in lately I again used a rust remover liquid. It's more fast and effective than electrolysis in rust remover way. And when you use rust remover liquid, you're not lost metal and can carefully save all old stamps on knife of axe. Then I used anglegrinder machine to clean deep dents but in spot of stamp I used iron brush. Then was a lot of work of sandpaper and file. Handle axe I made from birch tree. Finally, I used two components paint (mix) and my homemade wax for wood finish. Also, I made axe test for you, as usual.
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

BEAUTIFUL !!
You are one of the best!!!
The craftsman who forged this axe would be proud
of what you have done. Thanks for the video.
Like he and others do. I ❤ when the mark/stamp by the maker of the item is kept
Soviet Union axe, on the stamp is the abbreviature of the factory БЗПС = BZPS, year of producing - 1989, and price - 12.00 roubles~12 USD! Genuine axes were painted in black! Nice axe with the spirit of the time, not nowadays EU, US or China shit! Thanks for the reviving of the real times!
Thank you sir. ( po gostu znachit na sovest)
MUY BUEN TRABAJO Y MUY PROLIJO. SALUDOS.-
Spasibo vam bolshoe!!
Good job brother..
Very good
Thank you!!
And now it's a perfect battleaxe!
👍👍👍

👍
The stamps are interesting. Beautiful restoration!
Awesome work. I really like this axe. It’s funny how stamps or proof marks are so cool. 👍🏻
Nicely done!
"Three cedars" or "Three Christmas trees", the city of Nizhnyaya Salda, the Urals, a rare ax, valued by collectors, depending on the year and hardening. You have hardening 63, for fine carpentry, the steel is brittle, but keeps sharpening, if you use it hard it can crack.
Incredible work, as usual. Congratulations!
incrível trabalho no cabo, muito boa a restauração.
As someone who only knows one language, I have a great deal of respect for those that know multiple. That being said, "what is a stamp?" had me laughing for ages. The finished product looks phenomenal, and your videos bring a smile to my face always!
Good Job.... I always enjoy watching someone salvage a old axe or hatchet that most people would just scrap. I too have refurbished several over the years. Also I like seeing some of the tools you have and use...

There is a lot to be said for crafting using mostly hand tools. Brings it back to a time before power tools (with a couple minor exceptions) and it's great to see. Found a new channel to subscribe to.
Keep 'em coming!
Thank you so much!

Esta cera la hago yo mismo.ruclips.net/video/3bkRMU82QOQ/видео.html
