Auto tone doesn’t fix everything, you still need to be able to sing. Mckenna is very talented and most artists use auto tune as well.

Just finished watching Ghostbusters: Afterlife the girl that played Spengler's granddaughter really made me believe the role but also made it her own. I made made my way here to listen to the full version of the credits song and saw she sang that too. Well done kid.

@@omp199 Autotune was definitely used but majority artists use it for pitch correction like she did here, not the "T- Pain effect" where it's overly noticeable purposely.

Mckenna is a powerhouse of talent and kindness! Seriously, she is doing both college and high school, has around 60 acting credits ( she is an amazing actress), written a whole movie, producing another, has volunteered with various animal welfare organizations and helps in hospitals, wrote ,sang and created a beautiful song ( and hopefully an album), while having the time of her life with her friends and she is only 15!

Just watched Ghostbusters Afterlife with my daughters last night. It was a triumph and you and podcast were absolutely delightful. My Dad passed away last year and he introduced me to ghostbusters when I was little. Needless to say I didn’t make it to the end without crying. You all did it right. I cannot wait for GB:A2!!

When Ghostbusters: Afterlife ended, I was like, that girl who played Spengler's granddaughter really made me believe, she was the character she was playing. That is the mark of a true artist. And then as this song started in the end credits and this voice.. "You walk out the door.. then walk back in the second it's cold outside" I was like no way, that's the same girl. No way! And here she is, Mckenna Grace.

I've only ever heard this song at Goodwill - they have the oddest radio station...it plays old 80s sleeper hits and newer music (some of which is quite strange, weird, different, etc, good to see new musicians, music is eternal and is for each age/generation to make their own) and I've heard this one, a time or two. When I first saw the gifted I was like “omg, isn’t she the most cutest thing in earth?” and she was. I can’t believe 6 years have passed, she has grown up so fast.

I’m like an agnostic but I pray to all gods that dare to exist to protect her from grooming, drugs or whatever abuse or harm she could face on the entertainment industry. Hollywood used and might still be a wild place for children. And no one wants their child to grow that fast.
