After an extensive and thorough coaching search, the search for a new head coach concluded in exciting fashion. The former Falcons interim coach, Raheem Morris returns to Atlanta with new expectations, garnered respect and a limitless vision for the team. Raheem speaks on the expectations for the upcoming season and what he hopes to bring to the city.

@@GaryTurbo I think he will go after a younger QB that he can mold and plus he said he wants somebody discipline and a leader with elite decision making and in the draft I'll say MPJ JD5 Drake and Caleb fits that criteria but i say he will go for the first 2 just based of their leadership skills and being coachable and their thirst for being better... but then again i also think he could also wait till next year draft when the sanders boys enter and get them both because videos of them/deion and Arthur keep resurfacing so who knows
But IMO I say sign tee Higgins and Brian burns , draft JD5 1st and Terrion Arnold 2nd and Rod Moore with 2nd from Jags

Sign Jaylon Johnson and CJ Gardner draft Laitu Latu 1st and MPJ 2nd and Xavier Leggette with the 2nd from Jags

I’m not exactly keyed in for a kid from the draft cuz defensive minded HC don’t develop rookie QBs too well, and Zac Robinson is untested as a OC. I would want JF cuz he’s solid sure but it’s also the best culture choice you can make and you can go all into that ( get some Vick like magic and JF wants to be in Atl), and tbh it’s not as much of a necessity to take the “ SeCoNd CoMiNg Of AnDrEw LuCk” to be successful, we just need a not bad one.
Tldr: trade for JF, grab an edge or WR round 1 grab a tier 2 QB ( penix, or JJ for example whoever falls really) in round 2, but all this goes out the window if one of the tier 1s ( Williams, Maye, Daniels) falls to 8 and grab them

Well as we know, Zack Wilson didn't work out so far and Bryce Young didn't do that well his rookie year so trading up usually doesn't seem like it works out for QBs plus he has a chance on struggling too. If we could possibly make a trade, the Bears and Falcons need to do something where both teams can win in the moment and in the future. Maybe not trade everything away because of the risk but to come to terms on something that helps out each organization. We should be able to still get a pass rusher too. We need another cornerback as well.

Convince Russell to come, pay him pennies on the dollar since the Broncos will be paying most of his salary, build up our defensive line get a receiver. Next year we look for Russ replacement in the draft. JF ain't it and moving up in the draft will cost us too much for the future.
Cousins going to get injured this season.
There really is no valid reason to think that. Kirk takes care of his body better than Brady does. He has a hyperbaric chamber, he had stem cell therapy at the beginning of the year. Plus he does a whole bunch of other things to stay healthy. This injury was the first time that he missed games due to injury....in 12 seasons. The man knows how to take care of himself.
Since college, he has had a year-round fitness regimen that focuses on flexibility and agility and prioritizes lengthening his muscles rather than bulking up as quarterback’s muscles must be long and elastic for the sole purpose to play a long time like Brees and Brady did. He also trains for all three planes of motion in his body: the sagittal plane (front to back movement), frontal plane (side to side motion) and transverse plane (rotational movement). The goal is to build strength, stability, power, endurance and mobility in each, all of which are taxed by the quarterback position. It’s probably the reason that he had never missed a game due to injury in 12 seasons.
And....the only reason that he got hurt is because he wore the longer, screw-in spikes for the first time in his career in Green Bay and said that his cleat got stuck in the ground.

6 straight losing season and they hire a coach with a horrible losing record. This is hardly on the rise. Mark my words, if they do not go get one premiere pass rusher and another very good one and a premiere veteran QB they will not win any more game than they did last year. This is going to be a waste of 3 or 4 years.
I hope he succeeds though but this team has never been focused on getting a excellent pass rusher, they do not understand it is essential in getting to the superbowl.
I do think he is much better than Arthur Smith!
