I feel like assist characters should have a darker shade to them when there’re out. Just to help your eyes keep track of which is currently on point and which is just assisting or doing an idle pose before retreating (especially want that for spectators)

I'm a SF, Marvel & LOL player so this game is literally a dream come true. I don't even need a new MvsC4 anymore. Just this will do 🔥
yeah the more I think about it the more I'm vibing with the duo option. I definitely think solo should always be an option but being able to play with a friend on the same team against other duos online whereas other fighting games only allow you to play against each other I think is going to be huge.

If forced snaps become a thing in this game, I hope it will be in the form of character specific mechanics, like a Blitzcrank and/or Tresh super move. They toss the point character offscreen and pull the tag partner, locking down assists for 4~8 seconds or something along these lines.
I love Sajam's commentary over this, it keeps everything really lively.
I wish the champion portrays next to the health bars would show the selected color to make it easier to understand who is who.
Killer Instinct does it and I'm really confused why no other fighting game does.

Game looks sick but imo too difficult. I love marvel but MvCI and Power rangers BFTG are the two most punishing vs. Games I've ever played and this is essentially emulating those

Want the scene to actually grow. Power rangers and MvCI are brutal to beginners so coming off as MvCI/power rangers w grooves isn't going to be a good look for expanding the audience

I love how it already has team tournaments set up as you can coop standard. I mean Project L has it's own Combo Breaker event as you can have 1v1, 1v1 DBFZ/ UMvC mode and 2v2 like Tekken Tag 2 all from one game but three separate Top 8's; be kinda sick ngl
I think on the bit where you were going to hit confirm the jump attack as Ekko, the other Ekko tag in slowed the screen and ate your dash. Maybe you interrupted a burst?

I kinda hope they add Twitch at some point, even if it's later after release. I want to see how stacking the poison and doing a special for massive damage would play out in a game like this.

im really excited to make use of the duo mechanic, great to see also that theyre doing something to ensure that the game has a little more to offer than just league flavoured mvcu (which would also have been fine, kinda like Arcane would have been fine as the Mario Movie, but no, Riot just HAS to go that hard.)

Oh wow, you actually on same level with Devs. This really looks like ''your'' game. It is really fun to watch. But it is kinda hard to follow when there's 4 champs on same screen. Maybe red-side, blue-side outline effects on assists can help.
Sajams been actually really competitive for a while now. Smart of him to focus on content creation but his skills have vastly improved, been cool to see. Was bodying Marlinpie lol
For the music, there is a point where it echoes two notes into the background. That moment seems weak to me, even though the rest is very strong.
Obviously its early and will change but the assist timer needs to be more obvious

Udyr would be a no brainer for this game.
Tiger stance for most of your damaging combos, Turtle for defense and utility, Bear for mobility (and maybe armor with his new passive enhanced E? either stick it to a "charging forward" move like Potemkin Hammerfall or just leave that armor biz for Turtle) and Phoenix for setups, ranged attacks or some "aura" move. Passive can go something like "after X amount of hits after a stance change, your next special has better properties" and so on.
Good luck balancing that lol but 'tis be the time for brainstorming, isn't it?

does anyone know if you need to block crossup on the 3rd hit of Yasuo's rekka? or does it hit front and then he crosses over?
At the beginning of the vid he says it's a crossup but I'm lookin through the vid to try and find anywhere where it hits crossup
There's the one move at 1:13:28 that looks like it hits crossup but neither player seems to use the rekka much

imagine Zeri having an special that can cancel into other specials and her heavy attack, and her heavy attack being cancelable off of her normals, that way adapting the whole "her skill is an attack and her attack is a skill" thing
these matches are looking pretty sick! i tried the demo at evo and tagging was hard for me to wrap my head around, but the game itself felt really nice. hope to get more of it soon!
personally, my worry for the roster is that they're gonna stick to most of the "average human" kinda characters. i'm hoping for more of the "out-there" champions like Bard, Bel'veth, Kog'maw, Naafiri, Urgot, Tahm Kench...
sticking with more humanoid champions, i'd definitely like to see Gragas, Rell, or Renata Glasc in some form!
Ekko is such a solid character already. I wonder if the Devs ever looked at how Ekko plays/fights in the game Convrgence. If they haven’t they can get some really interesting stuff from his movelist in that game.
For example, Timewinder in that game when thrown does multiple hits and lingers when thrown. After a second or two it comes back to Ekko no matter where he is on the screen (and also he can hit the timewinder on the way back to send it back out). Just that difference alone would create some some interesting timewinder setups…combine that with Ekko’s rewind special. Sheesh
They said they wanted to showcase characters who are about 90% done for the demo. It's deep in development so maybe they'll add new tools, but I would hazard a guess that these champions are mostly done and they're gonna focus on designing as many new characters as possible.
That said, one of his lv 1 supers does exactly that if you watch far enough.
@@cloudedsun5052In my opinion, this game is good with simple controls for high mobility characters like Yasuo or Zed given an additional combo of up to 30 hits but not too much damage, for example spending 40% health, characters like Darius are enough for up to 20 combo hits but can do damage. 45% but low mobility what do you think bro

On one hand, this game is a treat to watch and clearly super deep. On the other hand, as someone that even finds Strive to be hard and complex (which I know most people would give me shit for, but I suck ok), this game just seems cosmic brain in a way I can't even comprehend. I need the lamest zoning abilties from Malzahar in this game XD... assuming they dont force his slow float/walk speed as a downside T_T like on some, he can't run but, he can wave dash slower than most. If ekko does it 4-5 times. Malz would be 2-3 times. or or or i can see them go crazy and give him a teleport on some Dhalsim shit.
