I have seen him twice in Goa, once in a flea market, surrounded by tourists most of them goras, strumming a guitar.
By the way, about the style of drinking coffee that you saw that's a very specific thing. When you drink feeltar kaapi (filter coffee) anywhere down south there is a specific style associated with it. The coffee is strong and served in a smallish stainless steel glass with the edges turned outwards. This glass sits on a wide circumference tumbler/katori. You need to put the piping hot coffee into this tumbler, blow on it to make it cool down and then drink from the tumbler.
Remember, this is only for feeltar kaapi! 😃
He is down to earth coz of his upbringing in South culture and Mahmood Saab his dad himself a Tamil Muslim and those many pictures r made in Chennai. Education is good in South and less galer compared to Mumbai filmdom.

I am watching it again and again, but it becoming more and more interesting, I may end up watching it a hundred times.., I am pleasantly surprised that lucky Ali sir lives in Bengaluru and his favourite eating places and my favourite places too. I used to get mesmerised by his music, but never thought that he lives in the city where I live.., my love of Bengaluru got a little bit more ❤️
Mehmood was a very popular comedian actor director producer, at that time he was paid more than the hero. Apart from a huge farm house in Bangalore, there is also a race course. The property is counted in the millionaire. Lucky Ali used to get paid 1 crore for singing a song but he stopped singing in films.

In South coffee is served in " Tumbler and Davera"😀 it gives a pleasure drinking " Filters coffee". Earlier time we had brose utensil,still old coffee houses serve it in that. Though SS utensils, Porcelain r used now a days too.

It's a traditional way of drinking filter coffee in South majorly..but now South Indian Restaurants ( Sagar Ratna) and all over India where they serve in this similar way. We love it...

I always thought he was a Goan. What a calm temperament man. I was hoping he would take her to some adda for Mysore Pak but he didn't! Any Bangaloreans here pls tell some good shops for Mysore Pak.
Mysore Pak was a very late made-up dish. The royal chef was caught short by a demand for a sweet, and didn't have anything ready, so he concocted this sweet, out of the very little he had handy just then - besan, ghee and sugar. It's worth trying to make at home, not too difficult at all, though it demands tender, loving care.
Being a Malleshwaram guy, I used to pig out at Asha Sweets, once or twice at Krishna Sweets. Both in Malleshwaram. If you live elsewhere, that will be some shop that I don't know too much about.
