- Blindfolded, handcuffed and bundled out of his secret prison for the first time in eight years, Bangladeshi barrister Ahmad Bin Quasem held his breath and listened for the sound of a cocked pistol. Instead he was tossed from a car and into a muddy ditch on Dhaka's outskirts -- alive, at liberty and with no knowledge of the national upheaval that had prompted his abrupt release.

She killed countless lives, disappeared whoever dared to criticize her or her govt. We were scared for the past 15 years.We were deprived of our voting rights as there were no opposition parties as she detained the opposition party members mercilessly without any solid conviction.

Barrister Ahmad was fortunate enough to get his second life and return from such secret prisons. Hasina did not let many people have that chance. I can't imagine the screams of those people asking to take their lives so that they don't have to face such life in prison.

You should have international investigation, but the country's courts should sentence the criminals.

Elias never comes back. After Hasina fled the country, one of the former police officers confirmed that Elias was abducted by a law enforcement agency and was brutally killed and they threw his body in the Bay of Bengal.
