Ezekiel’s message and it’s cultural context are a little too familiar right now. I pray for the Church every night and every night these thoughts keep me up at night with little rest. So much hatred and arrogance in the American church...it saddens me deeply. I served overseas for three years guarding U.S. Embassies. I had a very difficult time adjusting when I returned. I served a church where I was asked not to serve certain groups of people. I defended my position with Scripture and they came at me with the argument that we were obligated to give priority to those who financially supported the church. I couldn’t stay with the church. Unfortunately, I’ve since seen how the same attitude has shaped American culture, the church included. I haven’t served in ministry since. It’s like a shadow has been cast over me for taking a stand for the poor and neglected when all I wanted to do is serve God. I know God has a plan, but a decade away from the only calling I’ve ever felt has tested me. The commission of the prophets foretold the difficulty they would meet. I don’t dare compare myself to them, but my heart aches to think what they had to go through in the service of God.
The man in white linen is a vison of CHRIST marking the heads of the Christian believers traped in the siege of 70 AD. Not one was lost that belonged to CHRIST. The seige had breeches allowing them to miraculously escape.

I believe we are definitely experiencing the days in which Ezekiel was speaking about to Israel both the Northern & Southern regions now in 2021.
