Wow! She gave them a PRICELESS work of art!! I think someone would have spent MILLIONS for that! I think all of us looking at that painting of Jesus and listening to the story behind it, many of us understand just how truly VALUABLE that painting is! It would be if it were the actual painting. What she gifted them was a print which is a copy. Akiane has prints of most, if not all of her art works. They sell from anywhere between 1,500 to 2500 dollars. It is interesting that the original "Prince of Peace" painting was stolen from her when she was 9 years old and just recently recovered of which there is a video of that on you-tube.

The Hosts should respect her artwork in a professional way. I didn't like how they were manhandling her paintings and dragging them on the floor. But the young lady has "God Gifted" ability in all of her artwork.

[Miguel] I'm not so sure those are the original or actual paintings. They (the Kamarik family) also produce copies of Akiane's paintings and sell them for $1500 to $3000 dollars each. There is also a video somewhere on "you-tube" where she is 19 years old and she states that she finally finished the "Prince of Peace" portrait.
They were so obnoxious. I will never watch their show.
I did not like the person interviewing her I felt he had no idea of the spiritual aspect of her artwork plus I think he was rude

The interviewers were AWFUL!! So FULL of themselves, instead of bring as much out of Akiane as possible, they stepped all over her words. And while I realzie this is an old video, it's the first time I've seen it and I'm repulsed by the interviewers! They COULD have done SUCH an amazing interview, but they were thinking only of themselves!!

[D. Gillingham] I totally disagree with you. I found there questions to be relevant and direct despite Akiane's age and the occasional interruptions. If you open the interview "Lifeline Miracle Network 2005" you will see and hear two interviewers, especially the male, who asked questions geared more for a 4 year old instead of a wise 10 year old---and a little condescending if you ask me. But what I really liked about this interview was how much Akiane and her father enjoyed themselves. If there reactions had been different then I probably would have agreed with you.

Akiane is a special person with special extraordinary gifts, some people in this world have those gifts, whether you are Christian or not accept that, she had an experience and has shown it to the world, she did not have to, listen to her look at her drawings, she seems to be blessed, in this crazy violent world of ours let's be thankful we have an Akaine to give us hope.

She has a huge heart and in my mind, I feel she will be a soul that God may want in heaven sooner than you and I would want her to leave. Wow! She gave them a PRICELESS work of art!! I think someone would have spent MILLIONS for that! I think all of us looking at that painting of Jesus and listening to the story behind it, many of us understand just how truly VALUABLE that painting is! I think we know the value of it far more than she does!
It would be if it were the actual painting. What she gifted them was a print which is a copy. Akiane has prints of most, if not all of her art works. They sell from anywhere between 1,500 to 2500 dollars. It is interesting that the original "Prince of Peace" painting was stolen from her when she was 9 years old and just recently recovered of which there is a video of that on you-tube.

I have followed Akiane since her last book came out along with the movie and book, HEAVEN IS REAL, some time later, the young boy, in real life who had been quizzed for a few yrs about what did Jesus, who he saw in heaven, look like? When his dad left the picture that Akiane had seen on his desk. The boy picked the picture up and shouted, "Dad, this is him, this is Jesus!"
I have to agree the interviewers were a bit out of line and unprofessional, not to mention the guy hanging all over her canvas.
But wow i must say Akiane your are an amazing artist and have inspired and touched my heart. God blees young lady! thankyou
[Matt] I rather liked the whole interview, if for no other reason then how Akiane interacted with them. I believe she and her father enjoyed the whole experience and isn't that what it is about, extracting conversation that is both entertaining and enlightening while at the same time realizing you will be conversing with an 11 year old, albeit a mature 11 year old. I think you should also know that the painting he was leaning on was NOT the original but a printed copy.

I only just saw this interview. I usually love TBN. I agree that the joking overwhelms the significance of this gift. I did not go too far down in the posts but where is some reference to the gentleman who was the model of this beautiful portrait. Akiane seems to be the most humble person on this stage.

Heaven is a place called "Beautiful". I have seen through a window of the colors, it can only be described as Beautiful! Color you have never seen before.
