I prayed to God: “Lord please, if he’s going to hurt me more in the future, if he’s going to cheat me, take him away because I love and want to marry him more and more every day. If I lose him in a year or more, it will hurt more, so take him now if it’s better”. In less than 2 months, God showed me that he was already cheating: flirting with other girls on Instagram, lying to me and wasn’t keeping some promises that he made. It felt like hell. I tried to argument with God that maybe he could change, I tried to pray with him, send him Bible verses, but was all in vain. God took him away, and I praise Him because it would be worse in the future. Now my struggle is to forgive him, and Im not being successful. I hate him sometimes, even tho I still love him. I’m suffering so much because of this… im disappointing God with this hate, I know that, but I feel so incapable of forgive him 😭
It takes TIME to heal. I had bitterness towards my ex. I was certain we'd marry but the whole time he was using me. He said it was because I was so beautiful. Anyway, he was jive and I was utterly devastated! Forgiving him took way over a year. God completely gets it. Your not disappointing Him. The fact that you are concerned about your anger shows your good heart & speaks volumes.
I feel a similar way. I've been going through it! It is so painful and complicated and disappointing.... How come they've done what they have done? Why'd they do that? And why didn't they do what they were supposed to do? It feels so disrespectful. Why don't they care as much as we do? We aren't on the same page like I'd thought we were. It hurts to be this wrong. I feel duped, hoodwinked. Betrayed. It is awful and the pain can't be measured. God's Grace and Love is sufficient. I'm holding onto that. One day at a time. I'm trying to forgive too. I don't usually feel like it, I'm trying to choose it over and over and over again. It is frustrating when they are, they were supposed to love you... At least now you know, now I know too, and we are no longer in the dark about their character. That would have been worse to have been with them longer and to be even more attached and have to disentangle yourself from them. I liked him so much. I felt safe and often happy.... It was a rare and precious, absolutely beautiful feeling I don't remember feeling before him. I thought I mattered more to him than I do. 😢🥺😭 All your beautiful emotions, the amazing love you had for them, the beautiful plans... My heart still hurts. I want to love and be loved. The one for you ought to cherish you, value you! Make you a priority for real. @ I can relate to every single word you wrote. Why doesn’t he respected me?? But let me tell you what I was talking to God: Many times, when that person leave you, they leave Jesus too. The Holy Spirit tried to talk to them to not cheat, not lie, not deceive, but they refused God's word. Who are we to be accepted if THE LORD HIMSELF is being rejected? The pain you are feeling, the Lord is feeling deeper, because He loves that person more than you do. God is with you not only because He loves you and will never leave you, but because He knows and feels the same pain that you do, He got cheated too in this situation! This thougth gave me peace because I understood that wasn’t God's plan for me to suffer, and things would be so different if my ex had truly converted, received the Holy Spirit and left his sins. God would bless us, but He couldn’t bless a relationship that had lies involved. THE THING IS: God gave us free will to choose between wrong or right, death or life, cheating or loyalty, devil or GOD. These guys preferred their sins, and in the way, they lost US and more importantly: they are loosing God. Sis!!! Forgiveness is not something that comes naturally to us, don’t be too hard on yourself. This was a guy you grew strong feelings for so it’s understandable but you are doing awesome by talking to God about how you sincerely feel. Keep praying for a genuine forgiveness and one day you’ll wake up and you’ll find that you left the past behind and you can walk confidently towards your purpose. So important to be equally yoked. Many relationships that didnt get far because we were just too incompatible. For now, I just focus on building my relationship with God and pray that the Lord is preparing me and my future spouse for the time we meet.

God is not saying no, he is saying not yet. Trust in God's timing. I know its cliche and easier said than done and honestly I'm struggling with this too. I just know the pain of waiting will be so worth it, I'll laugh when I look back.
God said no for that specific person, though. 🙏🏻 The Lord can and will say no for things. But for our God-given desires such as marriage, He fulfills that in His time. So in the case of marriage in the general sense, sure, it's definitely a "not yet."
God has protected me so much in dating.. if you ask him to show you their true intentions and what God feels about it, he will! Didnt think about it untill right now, but those are some immediate prayer answers.

I’m just going to add this comment and leave it here for you to consider. The overwhelming majority of men have only experienced rejection from women. The statistics about this are firm. Most men, and I’m referring to good devout Christian men, are rarely able to marry the girl they truly have a passion for. They wind up, marrying the girl that doesn’t reject them. If you’ve been asking God to send you the man that you should marry, then you need to understand that he’s already there, but you’ve put him in your friend zone. You would be shocked at how often this is true.

This is a lie of modern Christianity. In our culture as opposed to biblical times women today wait until their late 20's to early 30's to get married. The content creator is a prime example, mid-late 20's not married because of feminism. Are you 16 years old unable to understand that sex can produce a pregnancy? Probably not. Many in biblical times were married by 18-19 years old. First the Church which is biblically illiterate these days says a rule "No sex before marriage" there's no context, no understanding. Conservative Christians are the worst at dealing with anything to do with sex. All they preach is don't think about, ask or about it, or do it until you're married. It's based on ignorance not biblical understanding. If you are a 16 year old boy with hormones then sex is an impulse where the adult ramifications like pregnancy are not considered. So sex before marriage is a delay of say 2-3 years from 16 years old in biblical times. Not 10-15-20 years in Western Christianity. If you're a 25+ year old woman who doesn't know what she wants in a guy or is actively with a guy she wants to marry then why are you doing? Imagine you have a 18 year old girl today and an 18 year old boy. Both have been told go to college/university and don't focus on marriage because they're too young and in our culture they are. Not in biblical times. So you're constantly told sex is a sin, sex is a sin for a decade and a half. Now you're 25-28 and thinking you want to get married. You've been told forever that sex s a sin. You've seen all the distortions of sex over the years but not a biblical example. So let's say you're lucky to get married as virgins. What does the husband want? Sex. He's been blocking the impulse since he's was 10, now 25 and wants to have sex with his wife a lot. But his wife having been ingrained that sex is a sin has no desire for sex or is ashamed of it. She has seen decades of images of what "sex" is supposed to be and can't see herself as beautiful. Maybe she's uncomfortable with pleasing her husband. Just read the stats on sexless marriages. Or the even worse part are women who aren't Christians in their 20's in college and so they sleep around and then come to Jesus and now a potential future husband knowing their potential future wife's body count is saying "I love Jesus, so no sex til marriage" which are many. Feminism has taken women today and made them unfit for marriage or unwanting of marriage in their early 20's. Go to college, get a career and then think of marriage. Now we have a culture where 50+% of marriages end in divorce and 80+% of all divorces in the US regardless of whether you are in the Church or not is initiated by women. For decades men have been trashed by women. Most good men are in the "friend zone" because women want the "bad guy" not the guy who actually likes them and treats the with respect. Women want the one guy who ignores them in a room, who shows he doesn't care, or even sees her, not the guy who is trying to win her over. All I see is a bunch of women here who are entering their 30's having rejected men for whatever reasons claiming GOD doesn't want them to marry a guy for whatever reason thus showing that "GOD" now becomes the foundation of narcissism in women that reject the men in their lives. To me, this culture ant these YT women are just another version of the destructive ideology of feminism. Sure Christian women say they'll submit to their husbands but they don't even submit to anyone now. How many women today even understand men? How many women want a man in their image, instead of becoming the wife in the image of the husband? All feminists do is say "GOD" or "Holy Spirit" to make it "Christian." Why not use some basic common sense. Why is sex before marriage in the Bible a sin? Because most people got married by our standards young. Having sex can dramatically alter a teens life. However if you're 30 and single in 2024 guess what sex doesn't have the same consequences as it did 2000 years ago. Why do you think women have a biological clock? Because you should be having a family by then not rushing to find a guy to have kids before the clock expires. I want a woman to honestly answer me why would a man want a Christian woman today? She deferred marriage for a career, and debt, she gave it up in college, and now has found Jesus again so no sex til marriage. Women control sex in marriage, so if the women wants to use it as a tool, punishment, manipulation, reward, etc she can. For a Christian guy there is ONLY 1 relationship he can have sex with a woman with and its his wife, which gives her a lot of power. Women have known this their entire lives. Wear a tight shirt and watch guys do all sorts of stuff for her. Yet look how many women here call men "imposters" and blame them for the relationship breaking down when 80% of all divorces are initiated by the wife which wipes out many men with spousal support for decades. Just in case you're wondering I am a happily married man with a son, to a wonderful wife. But my wife has made me and our family a priority. My life would be a mess without her. Why as a Christian man would I want to take the risk on you? Why when there is only 1 relationship I can have sex and a family with would I risk, rejection, manipulation, financial ruin, and years of my life and custody battles with a woman today? See women don;t see themselves as the core issue in relationships. Most guys have told "be a jerk" or you'll be friend zoned. Be an alpha, treat women poorly because they don't want the guy who wants them, they want the guy who doesn't. And reality bears this out. But most men who actually like a woman and want to be with her for life is in their friend-zone. Or they start out as "the guy" then they show emotion, commitment, wanting to be with the woman and the attraction is gone and then they're dumped. You see so many women today who want a 6 ft, man who makes 100-200K a year, who pumps them and dumps them because they don't want the nice guy. Guys want to marry women. Most men have an engrained desire to marry and find a good wife. But a good wife is an illusion. Men are rough around the edges even as a normal guy, nevermind after years of trauma with women. A woman is looking for a guy who is trustworthy, compassionate, hard-working, funny, loyal, but most men have been burned many times before and rejected, so they try to figure out what women want. They change themselves because they like a girl. A good guy becomes a jerk because that's what women respond to. Just look at the response when a guy holds a door for a girl. They get blasted for it. I'm a Christian man and I don't want today's "Christian" women. All that these videos show me, is #1 women today are biblically ignorant. #2 they are self-destructive and #3 selfish. If you are mature enough to understand sex and pregnancy and be an adult then find a guy, don't give it up on the 2nd or 3rd date but don't hold out for 2 years til marriage. crap or get off the pot. All we are producing is a bunch of delusional women in their late 20's and 30's thinking GOD is causing them to be single until they see the perfect Christian man who's in his 30's who will wait to have sex for 2+ years til marriage. Then if they do get married will his wife actually sleep with him? Instead of feeling she doesn't need sex, doesn't want sex, doesn't feel comfortable being naked, doesn't feel sexy, doesn't feel like her husband is there for her, doesn't feel romanced, etc. when he can find a woman who will sleep with him on date 2. A lot of Christian women will be left single because they don't know what it means to be a Christian wife. If all you're concerned about is finding a guy who will date you for 2-3 -10 years, whatever timeframe doesn't expire your biological clock to have kids and have him wait for sex til then, then you're going to reman single for a long time.
That’s a you issue my guy. It’s fine to take a break after a break up to grieve and reflect but my guess is that you might have self- confidence issues or maybe others that are unresolved that keep contributing to these short relationships. I think you need to figure out what your issues are and deal with them. Just some thoughts. If you want to be in a relationship then get your stuff together and go after a woman that is looking for a long term relationship.

i aint gone lie i did the same prayer after a bible study and i get a text" hey i dont think this is working out" lol I was like God man that was quick lol but I still wanted it. Closed doors and that voice are His protection. He can see hearts and things we cant see and also He knows if you were to align with a person they might either draw you away from Him so being a loving Father He does what is best for his children even at the moment you may not see it

I prayed to God: “Lord please, if he’s going to hurt me more in the future, if he’s going to cheat me, take him away because I love and want to marry him more and more every day. If I lose him in a year or more, it will hurt more, so take him now if it’s better”.
In less than 2 months, God showed me that he was already cheating: flirting with other girls on Instagram, lying to me and wasn’t keeping some promises that he made. It felt like hell. I tried to argument with God that maybe he could change, I tried to pray with him, send him Bible verses, but was all in vain. God took him away, and I praise Him because it would be worse in the future.
Now my struggle is to forgive him, and Im not being successful. I hate him sometimes, even tho I still love him. I’m suffering so much because of this… im disappointing God with this hate, I know that, but I feel so incapable of forgive him 😭
It takes TIME to heal. I had bitterness towards my ex. I was certain we'd marry but the whole time he was using me. He said it was because I was so beautiful. Anyway, he was jive and I was utterly devastated! Forgiving him took way over a year. God completely gets it. Your not disappointing Him. The fact that you are concerned about your anger shows your good heart & speaks volumes.
I feel a similar way. I've been going through it! It is so painful and complicated and disappointing.... How come they've done what they have done? Why'd they do that? And why didn't they do what they were supposed to do? It feels so disrespectful. Why don't they care as much as we do? We aren't on the same page like I'd thought we were. It hurts to be this wrong. I feel duped, hoodwinked. Betrayed.
It is awful and the pain can't be measured. God's Grace and Love is sufficient. I'm holding onto that. One day at a time. I'm trying to forgive too. I don't usually feel like it, I'm trying to choose it over and over and over again. It is frustrating when they are, they were supposed to love you... At least now you know, now I know too, and we are no longer in the dark about their character. That would have been worse to have been with them longer and to be even more attached and have to disentangle yourself from them. I liked him so much. I felt safe and often happy.... It was a rare and precious, absolutely beautiful feeling I don't remember feeling before him. I thought I mattered more to him than I do. 😢🥺😭

Many times, when that person leave you, they leave Jesus too. The Holy Spirit tried to talk to them to not cheat, not lie, not deceive, but they refused God's word. Who are we to be accepted if THE LORD HIMSELF is being rejected? The pain you are feeling, the Lord is feeling deeper, because He loves that person more than you do.
God is with you not only because He loves you and will never leave you, but because He knows and feels the same pain that you do, He got cheated too in this situation!
This thougth gave me peace because I understood that wasn’t God's plan for me to suffer, and things would be so different if my ex had truly converted, received the Holy Spirit and left his sins. God would bless us, but He couldn’t bless a relationship that had lies involved.
THE THING IS: God gave us free will to choose between wrong or right, death or life, cheating or loyalty, devil or GOD. These guys preferred their sins, and in the way, they lost US and more importantly: they are loosing God. I pray for them to convert someday… maybe we can be friends on heaven 🥺😭

Sis!!! Forgiveness is not something that comes naturally to us, don’t be too hard on yourself. So important to be equally yoked. Many relationships that didnt get far because we were just too incompatible. For now, I just focus on building my relationship with God and pray that the Lord is preparing me and my future spouse for the time we meet.

The overwhelming majority of men have only experienced rejection from women. The statistics about this are firm. Most men, and I’m referring to good devout Christian men, are rarely able to marry the girl they truly have a passion for. They wind up, marrying the girl that doesn’t reject them.
If you’ve been asking God to send you the man that you should marry, then you need to understand that he’s already there, but you’ve put him in your friend zone. You would be shocked at how often this is true.

This is a lie of modern Christianity. In our culture as opposed to biblical times women today wait until their late 20's to early 30's to get married. The content creator is a prime example, mid-late 20's not married because of feminism. Are you 16 years old unable to understand that sex can produce a pregnancy? Probably not. Many in biblical times were married by 18-19 years old. First the Church which is biblically illiterate these days says a rule "No sex before marriage" there's no context, no understanding. Conservative Christians are the worst at dealing with anything to do with sex. All they preach is don't think about, ask or about it, or do it until you're married. It's based on ignorance not biblical understanding. If you are a 16 year old boy with hormones then sex is an impulse where the adult ramifications like pregnancy are not considered. So sex before marriage is a delay of say 2-3 years from 16 years old in biblical times. Not 10-15-20 years in Western Christianity. If you're a 25+ year old woman who doesn't know what she wants in a guy or is actively with a guy she wants to marry then why are you doing?
Imagine you have a 18 year old girl today and an 18 year old boy. Both have been told go to college/university and don't focus on marriage because they're too young and in our culture they are. Not in biblical times. So you're constantly told sex is a sin, sex is a sin for a decade and a half. Now you're 25-28 and thinking you want to get married. You've been told forever that sex s a sin. You've seen all the distortions of sex over the years but not a biblical example. So let's say you're lucky to get married as virgins. What does the husband want? Sex. He's been blocking the impulse since he's was 10, now 25 and wants to have sex with his wife a lot. But his wife having been ingrained that sex is a sin has no desire for sex or is ashamed of it. She has seen decades of images of what "sex" is supposed to be and can't see herself as beautiful. Maybe she's uncomfortable with pleasing her husband. Just read the stats on sexless marriages. Or the even worse part are women who aren't Christians in their 20's in college and so they sleep around and then come to Jesus and now a potential future husband knowing their potential future wife's body count is saying "I love Jesus, so no sex til marriage" which are many.
Feminism has taken women today and made them unfit for marriage or unwanting of marriage in their early 20's. Go to college, get a career and then think of marriage.
Now we have a culture where 50+% of marriages end in divorce and 80+% of all divorces in the US regardless of whether you are in the Church or not is initiated by women.
For decades men have been trashed by women. Most good men are in the "friend zone" because women want the "bad guy" not the guy who actually likes them and treats the with respect. Women want the one guy who ignores them in a room, who shows he doesn't care, or even sees her, not the guy who is trying to win her over.
All I see is a bunch of women here who are entering their 30's having rejected men for whatever reasons claiming GOD doesn't want them to marry a guy for whatever reason thus showing that "GOD" now becomes the foundation of narcissism in women that reject the men in their lives.
To me, this culture ant these YT women are just another version of the destructive ideology of feminism. Sure Christian women say they'll submit to their husbands but they don't even submit to anyone now. How many women today even understand men? How many women want a man in their image, instead of becoming the wife in the image of the husband?
All feminists do is say "GOD" or "Holy Spirit" to make it "Christian." Why not use some basic common sense. Why is sex before marriage in the Bible a sin? Because most people got married by our standards young. Having sex can dramatically alter a teens life. However if you're 30 and single in 2024 guess what sex doesn't have the same consequences as it did 2000 years ago. Why do you think women have a biological clock? Because you should be having a family by then not rushing to find a guy to have kids before the clock expires.
I want a woman to honestly answer me why would a man want a Christian woman today? She deferred marriage for a career, and debt, she gave it up in college, and now has found Jesus again so no sex til marriage. Women control sex in marriage, so if the women wants to use it as a tool, punishment, manipulation, reward, etc she can. For a Christian guy there is ONLY 1 relationship he can have sex with a woman with and its his wife, which gives her a lot of power. Women have known this their entire lives. Wear a tight shirt and watch guys do all sorts of stuff for her. Yet look how many women here call men "imposters" and blame them for the relationship breaking down when 80% of all divorces are initiated by the wife which wipes out many men with spousal support for decades. Just in case you're wondering I am a happily married man with a son, to a wonderful wife. But my wife has made me and our family a priority. My life would be a mess without her.
Why as a Christian man would I want to take the risk on you? Why when there is only 1 relationship I can have sex and a family with would I risk, rejection, manipulation, financial ruin, and years of my life and custody battles with a woman today? See women don;t see themselves as the core issue in relationships. Most guys have told "be a jerk" or you'll be friend zoned. Be an alpha, treat women poorly because they don't want the guy who wants them, they want the guy who doesn't. And reality bears this out. But most men who actually like a woman and want to be with her for life is in their friend-zone. Or they start out as "the guy" then they show emotion, commitment, wanting to be with the woman and the attraction is gone and then they're dumped.
You see so many women today who want a 6 ft, man who makes 100-200K a year, who pumps them and dumps them because they don't want the nice guy. Guys want to marry women. Most men have an engrained desire to marry and find a good wife. But a good wife is an illusion. Men are rough around the edges even as a normal guy, nevermind after years of trauma with women. A woman is looking for a guy who is trustworthy, compassionate, hard-working, funny, loyal, but most men have been burned many times before and rejected, so they try to figure out what women want. They change themselves because they like a girl. A good guy becomes a jerk because that's what women respond to. Just look at the response when a guy holds a door for a girl. They get blasted for it.
I'm a Christian man and I don't want today's "Christian" women. All that these videos show me, is #1 women today are biblically ignorant. #2 they are self-destructive and #3 selfish.
If you are mature enough to understand sex and pregnancy and be an adult then find a guy, don't give it up on the 2nd or 3rd date but don't hold out for 2 years til marriage. crap or get off the pot. All we are producing is a bunch of delusional women in their late 20's and 30's thinking GOD is causing them to be single until they see the perfect Christian man who's in his 30's who will wait to have sex for 2+ years til marriage. Then if they do get married will his wife actually sleep with him? Instead of feeling she doesn't need sex, doesn't want sex, doesn't feel comfortable being naked, doesn't feel sexy, doesn't feel like her husband is there for her, doesn't feel romanced, etc. when he can find a woman who will sleep with him on date 2.
A lot of Christian women will be left single because they don't know what it means to be a Christian wife. If all you're concerned about is finding a guy who will date you for 2-3 -10 years, whatever timeframe doesn't expire your biological clock to have kids and have him wait for sex til then, then you're going to reman single for a long time.
You not alone. I been single since 2016 and everytime I try to get a gf it never last long.
That’s a you issue my guy. It’s fine to take a break after a break up to grieve and reflect but my guess is that you might have self- confidence issues or maybe others that are unresolved that keep contributing to these short relationships. I think you need to figure out what your issues are and deal with them. Just some thoughts. If you want to be in a relationship then get your stuff together and go after a woman that is looking for a long term relationship.

Yes. Being equally yoke is very serious. Serving the Lord Jesus is not only within the four walls in a building. Serving a person who needs joy and hope in his/her desperate wretched life is far more meaningful of pointing to Christ Jesus at a time out in the unbelieving world is challenging. Toughest situation can make growth in faith. Carrying your own cross as Jesus commanded in the Gospels. He is all you need when your world and temptations shakes off of you. Amen.
