Per ProFootball Talk, "Hill's apparent refusal to play on Sunday could trigger a contract showdown, which could allow the Dolphins to wipe out his remaining guarantees. It also could allow the Dolphins to pursue partial repayment of more than $24 million in signing bonus and roster bonus money received in 2024."

“He (Rodger) didn’t give me the jersey the first time because we had lost to him,” Huntley said Wednesday before giving a prediction of sorts. “But I think after this game, I hope he gives me that jersey.” What a great attitude for a starting QB to have before playing an elimination play-off game. “I want a jersey.” I want a participation trophy. This with Tyreek and Ramsey comments demonstrations how soft this pro team is. So Dolphins!

In 1992, nose tackle Alfred Oglesby of the Miami Dolphins fabricated a story about being kidnapped to avoid punishment for breaking curfew and missing practice. It reflects the strict discipline that players under Shula’s coaching were expected to maintain.

It appears to me that this is an issue between mcdaniel and tyreek. After the houston game, where mcdaniel pointed the finger without naming names at tyreek on at least 1 of the interceptions, tyreek tweets "it's time for me to go coach". Then he misses some practices allegedly. Pulls himself out yesterday and postgame comments from both tyreek and mcdaniel show how disconnected they are. I doubt that gets fixed.

I’ve been a loyal fan since 1983. I’ve stood by this team through thick and thin and for what? One gut punch after another by this owner. We are the most poorly and incompetently run franchise in the NFL. Mediocrity is obviously acceptable here and nothing is going to change any time soon. Bringing Grier and McDaniel back after this disastrous season is the straw that broke this camel’s back.
Therefore, I am officially renouncing my title as a fan of the Miami Dolphins. I cannot do this anymore. I’m going to be rooting for the Lions until Grier and McDaniel are no longer employed by the Miami Dolphins.

For the 2nd consecutive vid, Perk, whom I greatly respect is making the Dolphins squad sound like the Steelers of Chuck Noll vintage. They aren’t close. Those guys would kill you as much as look at you. Please. This is the touchy, geeky era of the NFL, with trading jerseys, and smiles post game. To. Great stuff again, guys. One thing that i took from his post game comments that i haven't heard anyone mention was when he said "i'm a competitor. I can't just be out there." Kind of implying (& i could be wrong here) that McDaniel is failing to get him the ball or more involved At least from his point of view. You guys forgot to mention Ramsey's cryptic tweet as well. Looks like he's mirroring Tyreek's view. I believe this all started at Indy with the crossed fingers. Also, can't the team have leverage with voiding some $ because he took himself out of the game? There's something there, guys because his agent said he needed to speak to him privately.

Then Tua wearing shades on the sidelines. It is something deeper going on. Hill is not like Diggs.. It's funny now it is a problem when the team isn't winning. The problem I always have with naming all the starting players for the Dolphins in the offseason like Perk did, is that they are definitely a formidable team on paper when they are all healthy, but the reality in Chris Grier’s world is that once the hitting begins, at least five or more of them will be unavailable for a significant portion of the season and it will inevitably cost them in the long run. Year after year.

  • @mjkwarch6755

They should have cut him this morning, McDaniel go to press conference and say we don’t accept that on this team. they aren’t winning anything next year so carry the hit and make a real change for the future. Also if Tua will ever be anything, he should be all over Tyreek, should have torn into him on the sideline instead of chilling with his Fendi glasses. It all looks so bad.

Dolphins need to blow it up trade the vets to open up cap space down the line and get some picks. Make as much as you can of tua future money into a bonus this yr ( open up more cap space in the future) then trade or cut him after the season. Hire gm and coach that can evaluate the young talent keep who they want and trade away the rest. Give the new front office choice of QB, and players and they will have extra picks and cap space to start with.

I mean shit, if Tyreek wanted to be a probowler or an All Pro, or manage to hit 1,000 yards this season, maybe he should’ve brought his hands to work with him at some point this season. He would’ve had 5-6 more TDs and probably 400 more yards if he had just caught about half of the passes that hit him cleanly in both hands and got dropped.

Really wish I was not born into fandom of this poverty franchise. They have no genuine desire to win or be great. If they did everyone we know is a problem and/or fails to contribute to winning based on abundant evidence (Grier, McDaniel, Reek, Chubb, and yes Tua since he's literally human glass) would be gone at any cost. It will be decades of the same until ownership demands better.

I will keep watching the content creators to support their livelihoods, but until Grier is gone I am watching from afar. A fan for 40 years, and keeping the regime in place is just insulting to the fans. Saying the status quo isn't acceptable then immediately sticking with the status quo is an absolute joke and shows how out of touch old man Ross is with the rest of the world. Zero faith in the future of the Miami Dolphins as it is currently built. This team is SOFT, UNDISCIPLINED, misguided, and frankly a joke to many in the league. The narrative exists because it is the truth, and yet only assistant coaches will pay the price. It is disgusting and shameful how mediocre this team has been for almost 3 decades (and don't come at me with recent "winning seasons"...this team has been subpar when compared to teams with actual winning records)

  • @antoniomenendez1031

So according to perk the reason we cant run inside is not because we have 2 of the worst OGs and a Center whose weak against power, but because we dont have a power back? Thats a hell of a take, but sorry you are not going to be picking up those hard yards with 3 weak inside linemen. Brewer is fine, but they are going to have to draft/sign some OGs that can get push for us to have any success in the short yard game.

    • @Ballaholic17
      @Ballaholic17 16 дней назад

Yeah, but we don't even try running between the tackles. He maybe calls 4 or 5 inside run plays per game. Mostly because Achane is 190 lbs soaking wet. You can tell they didn't want him banging inside and taking many hits by dlineman. Mostert is more physical, but he lost a step and had fumbling issues. In theory, a more physical, durable running back would force McDaniel to stick with the run game, and open up more inside runs. Especially on the road or late in games. We're always throwing to win instead of a normal 4 min offense. I know everyone likes Jaylen Wright, and he very well may be a good player, but for whatever reason, McDaniel didn't trust him to play heavy snaps or to run out the clock late in games, but we had some success running inside. It just wasn't a big part of the offense.

Don't forget. After the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl and Tyreek had 159 targets during the 2021 season. He complained about not getting enough targets. Then, he wanted to be the highest paid receiver before eventually demanding a trade. Now we know why this team is Charmin soft. If a guy acts like Tyreek and is named a team captain. How can the locker room to take anything seriously from the coaches or other leaders on the team? My prediction: The Dolphins fold up again next year after a bad start . Mike gets fired halfway thru the year. Weaver is named interim coach. The Dolphins finish with a top 5 pick, and Grier is fired. They get a new GM, and blow it up next off-season. Dolphins draft Arch Manning or Nussemeier 👀

New GM, New Coach, and get rid of narcissistic 2 cent head Tyreek Hill. If you wanted to keep McDaniel for one more year to see how he does with a new GM, I suppose I can get on board with that, but his offense needs a revamp big time. Enough of this heavy screen game. There is not just one person who is to blame for this season. It's a top-down problem once again.

Bro, we’ve been a garbage franchise and a laughing stock of the NFL for the past 20 years. Outside of the Browns, we’re the worst franchise in the NFL.

Perhaps Hill’s behavior has to do with his former team going for their 3 straight SB? “Regrets, I’ve had a few…”

If Hill wanted to win , He would have stayed in Kansas City , He was offered 65 million but greedy Hill wanted 7 million more so he rolled the dice with a team that has not won a post season game in over 20 yrs when he got there .

If most Dolphins fans weren’t pleased as punch with 9-8 and one and done in the playoffs and demanded excellence from Ross instead, then things would change. The fans enable Ross to produce only mediocrity on the field , and that’s on a good day.

No playoff wins in 25 years is NOT mediocre!

Exactly. I was disgusted when I saw fans saying they would be happy if they won Sunday to finish with 5 straight winning seasons. I guess 9-8 is acceptable for some fans 😏

The time for diplomacy is dead. You need to fine him for the comments and for his refusal to play. Start the paper trail. Don’t trade him. If he doesn’t stop this foolishness. You’ll be able to void his contract

  • @THCity732

Our offense should be cutting up the middle of the field. F the deep shit & F the screens .. mix it up with runs, short-medium passes, and play actions … oh and their discipline is a whole other conversation & it stems from McDaniel being soft

Maybe Hill doesn't want to end his career with a loosing franchise. Just going to run it back.
