Magda Linette was the better player for most of the match but Aryna just played the big points well. Such a high quality match. Just two breaks separated the match.
That's true. Sabalenka overcame the difficulties with a sheer physical power of her strokes. Even the net got defeated on a couple of occasions 😉
Linette was playing in the trees today. Never seen her play that well. Aryna plays it smart and overcomes clay. Love the yellow and pink kit on Aryna!!!

Never mind the final score: No one in the game has more heart than Magda Linette. Very smart player too. She wrings out every ounce of talent she's got in that compact body. Sabalenka can be deadly on clay, and her victory no surprise, but Magda's set 2 winner was a joy to see. More good highlights. Thanks!

Magda played like she was possessed... truly deserved to win to be honest! 🙂
I really appreciate the perseverance, resolution and ambition of Magda Linette. She has explicitly compelled the frontiers and lines on the pitch in order to lead the balls and rallies to the different portions but Sabalenka has typically played with her style and contending more unfaltering than professional Polish tennis player.
Linette played her heart out, high above everyone's expectations. At some moments, she just forgot she's up against most brut hitter on tour. Sad she lost

This is how she plays, her rythme, her habit lol she's not gonna change that just because you don't like it. Rafael Nadal also grunts and no one says a thing
Not easy for Sabalenka to play considering everything that's been happening to her. Very good match. Sabalenka is capable of more than she is showing has good hands at the net, should use the entire court a bit more sometimes she relies too much on her power.
Is there not a way Sabalenka can play without these loud cries and shouting??😅

Rafael nadal grunts all the time and no one cares honestly people should stop focusing on her screams it's literally the way she mlaysw she's explosive and powerful and it helps her

Great highlights that appear to capture the ebbs and flows of the match. Sabalenka is so great. It seems like Linette was really giving it to her, winning quite a number the longer rallies, yet Sabalenka just stayed ahead on the scoreboard, especially in that last set, and eventually closed it out. I appreciate how she has lifted her game over the years.

Some sees it. If you can get over that screaming and not let it intimidate you which is not easy to do. You have a chance. Get her moving and she doesn't like that very much.

Linette dobrze grała, zwłaszcza serwis był znakomity. Szkoda że w decydującym secie zaczęła się chyba denerwować i zaczęła grać za agresywnie przez co ilość błędów wzrosła i serwis już tak nie siedział dobrze jak wcześniej. No i do tego niestety brak szczęścia ...te kilka akcji Sabalenki po siatce. No ale jak to się mówi...szczęście sprzyja lepszym, dlatego Sabalenka wygrała. Magda musi więcej takich meczów grać z rywalkami z top10 żeby nabrać doświadczenia i nie wymiękać w decydujących momentach.
Świątek też niestety ma ostatnio problem z utrzymaniem dobrego serwisu cały czas. Jakieś takie ma momenty rozkojarzenia albo zbyt agresywnej gry która stwarza błąd za błędem.
Sabalenka is ridiculous. Her grunts are just to distract other players.

Grow up and get over the grunts. Coco even said in an interview that players don’t notice the grunts when they play each other. It’s natural when you’re playing high intensity & tiring games. There are also other players who are loud like Aryna and imo it’s better to watch games with them bec you feel their passion! Unlike silent players… i could fall sleep watching them zzz

Jakby to był trening to by nie było tego zwycięskiego wrzasku po skutecznej piłce meczowej, pokazującego że to był dla Sabalenki trudny mecz, mogący skończyć się nawet jej porażką. Ten krzyk wyrażał wielką ulgę, że udało jej się wygrać.
Szkoda mi Magdy, bo zagrała świetny mecz, i gdyby nie ta "świnia" kończącą pierwszego seta (oczywiście niezamierzona, wszak nikt nie ma na to wpływu, ale jednak) - to różnie mogłoby być...
Tak że... z tym "treningiem" to trochę pojechałaś...
