Keep your coconut shavings in a container and put them in a the freezer.
Save them for a topping of ice cream or sherbet in the summer. Or for a garnish for a frozen drink on a hot day.
Which reminds me. We are almost in Jello Shot season. 😃But Saint Patrick's Day is Next...😈
    Cheers Randy! God Bless!

Im going to try this in the next few weeks. Got an idea while watching again. How about taking the left over coconut flakes in a jar with sugar, it will extract all the left over alcohol and juice from the flakes, then add to one of the bottles as a "Malibu"

Very well done making that drink. You could have edited the video down a lot more, but it just wouldn’t be the same. I’m loving these series you’re doing, it’s like I’m a neighbour just popping in to see how you’re getting on with your latest concoctions 😊 Keep on Shining Randy 😎

I'll say it again, I always love your look of surprise when a recipe comes together as planned.
Will be filing that recipe away for future use.

When you make your different kinds of rum thr flavor rum you make like the extra flavor coconut rum do you add that also to the reg. Rum dunder or do you keep them separate because why i ask when you ad your dunder to a batch of rum to make oaked rum or spiced rum would you have hints of coconut or pineapple in that batch

I use coconut often for beers and post flavoring. You probably already know you used too much. Anyways. 1. Use 1/4 of what you used. 2. Toast some of it in the oven first. 3. Use the coconut flakes from the jars in coffee and other foods. Just do a pour over the flakes. You'll love it.

I've got some basic clear rum, in wondering if I could infuse it with the sweetened coconut flakes or if I'd nerd to rerun it with coconut milk in the thumper and then put flakes in for post distillate flavoring?

Did the coconut flavor come through the distillate? Was it subtle or reasonably pronounced? Thanks Randy
