Honestly the names and logos just need to look more professional and they would take off even more

I was at least hoping for the pll to expand roster spots from 25 to 28 or so, to allow mll players more spots in the pll. But I realize wages would be expensive

Next season gonna be crazy. Does this mean we will see Pll teams settle in cities?

That would kill the league. The cities model is why the MLL had so many problems

I wouldn't think so and it's too early to say. I wanna say corona will be more under control be then so the traveling from city to city model should be a go ahead, unless the PLL decides they want to plant teams in certain cities

@@shanejohn29 I wouldn't say the cities model screwed up the MLL,it was a lot more than that. Once the PLL expands to 12+ teams I think they would settle in cities.

@@bangbangrogers2750 I'm sure there were other bad decisions but it's far more difficult to have a "home field". The players were also not living in the area so you had people flying in for home games. The PLL being in one spot each week at least means that you can reduce costs of hiring locations, infrastructure for video, referees and support staff.
Also that the MLL would leave a town after a year and rename rebrand redraft (maybe taking away players from a successful team) was crazy.
The PLL model skills also give you a "full" crowd of people as its one event per year maybe rather than trying to get repeat fans a few times per month during the summer.
Anyway I think lacrosse is far far too small for the city model right now. Maybe in another ten years but could easily take longer.

I thought there would be a few more MLL seasons too

Yeh, they barely made it two seasons. It is what it is I guess, it’s for the better

I think covid was a huge factor in it.

How is this a merger? The PLL folded all the teams except for the Cannons.
