Ah mannn this is beautiful! I've build a 2.7 stroker (NA) myself a few years back, got it to 240hp on the wheels with itb's! Turbo was the dream though.. Great engine! Did u use the alu pistons from 2.5i? or even better turbo pistons? What's the compression ratio on this one? very curious! Keep up the vids! beautiful project!!
Thank you so much! Bottom end is stock from a super eta just checked over to make sure everything is good. This motor should just get me started and driving for a while till I build another m20. Thanks again!
Yes. I should have gone over the motor build again. But 2.7 "stroker" super eta bottom end, bimmerheads port and polished head with a 280/274 cam is the gist of it.
hello, why have you chosen EFR 7670 Twin scroll Turbo ?? i am planning to do roughly the same build, 81mm stroke 84.5mm bore, 881 head, 98-102 octane fuel, 288/288 cams... & i m more looking to EFR 6758 Twinscroll, goal is kinda same 300-350 rwhp. how much psi are you going to run ? i'm thinking max 20psi. B1 frame turbo will do great job ? why go for B2 frame turbo ? how did you make your calculations ? I used Garret instructions on their site, they explain which turbo to choose from the power aim. .. tx
I was originally going to go with a 257sxe but with t4 divided would require more cost in fabrication for wastegates and piping so figured for about the same price I went with the efr equivalent, the 7670. No twin wastegate, no extra piping to make. just tried to simplify the set up. That doesn't mean it will work for everyone though. Not sure but yes 20psi definitely the max, probably around 14ish psi. I used Borg Warner Match Bot Calculator as Garrets didn't work for me.
@@themaskeddriver yes you are right, Twinscroll needs 2 external wastegate . That is also why i Have chosen BW EFR turbo… yes it makes things more simple. I just cant figure out which one to choose. Well i subscribed your channel. I cant wait to see it Running that will help me to choose. Tx for sharing 👍
Let erre ripp.
I’m interested in seeing how all your ac components will be working with your bay the way it is
Should be able to set the motor in the car hopefully next week and then will start work on the rest of the ac lines
Go bigger then 1000cc’s huntertuned sells some nice injectors and you can go bigger if you want turn it up
Thank you!

whats the expected power output gonna be?
I'd be happy with anything over 350 to start, which shouldn't be a problem
@@themaskeddriver nice im looking forward to it, i really need to get me an e30
so this turbo setup is going on a 2.7 stroker right? Using which head?

@@themaskeddriver haha right after this comment I saw you had made a whole video on it. Very impressive, I enjoy your channel.
Thank you. Appreciate it!
