Thank you so much, you're a life saver! I've had this problem in the past and was usually able to solve it by changing the x and y positions of the artboard, but this time, nothing I tried work and I was about to tear my hair out! I tried your very first method and it worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
hello! Would a company ever want you to send them a layered AI file or a swatch to use, or would you send it as a specific size they asked for? My worry is that the lines would show up if they used the swatch!
Hey! I tried these, thanks so much for the tips :) they wouldn't work for me this time so I opened a new document and didn't move the artboard. I pasted my pattern into it then exported it as a JPG and it worked! I was trying to export multiple colourways from one file, which seemed to be the issue, so I will do them one at a time in this new file. This is incase it helps anyone else and thank you for your help getting there!
Hi Maja! Thank you for explaining the processes. Can you only see the white lines in Photoshop? Is there another way to check if there are white lines? I am guessing printing the pattern out on paper at home would yield the white lines as well? I do not have photoshop (only Adobe Illustrator) so I cannot really check. In other words, it all looks fine to me, but I had a customer have issues with one of my patterns on Creative Market (he was using photoshop.) THANKS A MILLION!
Hello Maja! I'm having difficulties with the white lines in my pattern? At what point did you drag asset to panel? When I do that, a total of 3 assets appear? It seems like my actual pattern plus background color plus something else? What am I doing incorrectly here please?

This post is perfect timing. I was just dealing with this and hadn't found a solution. The asset export method worked for this image. Thank you!

You can print out on paper, or save a large sizes jpg with the pattern repeated, open in preview and zoom in.
This was a lifesaver!!
I move my art board to an even X and Y measurement, and this often helps.
Great tips! I haven't tried that out. Thanks for sharing!
still relevant!
Thanks :)

Hold control or option and drag them over as a single asset
group layers
Doesn't apply to CS6 though :(
Thank you for the efforts BUT nothing works for me :)
Same here... it's so frustrating.
