Denver is the worst place for Wilson, since there’s no fit, and he won’t develop here. He needs a mentor in the form of a proven quarterback. And no, Sean Payton will do nothing for his development.
The bronvos curse started the year perna rooted on the chiefs in the playoffs. Perna started this curse. Research it if you think im wrong. This is all pernas fault.
It’s a good move by the Bronco’s. It costs us next to nothing to give him a try. We sent a 6th round pick to Jets and got back a 7th round pick, the Jet’s are also paying about half of his 5.4M salary. He could be a great backup and he’s getting paid less than Stidham.
Yep. Tank time. Trade down from 12 and get another pick (20th + 50th kinda thing). Keep filling holes in the roster, get a top 3 pick next draft and get franchise QB. Hopefully.
“I don’t think he got a fair shake…” he was the starter with an amazing RB and a pretty good receiving group. Yeah his Oline was trash but the dude had chances.
Denver is the perfect situation for Zach. There’s no expectation for him to win, or even for him to start. Let him play carefree under the first offensive minded HC he’s had since college, with the most coherent offensive scheme of his pro career and give him a shot. If he continues to stink, he’s helping you by tanking you into Shedur Sanders/Ewers/whomever, if he continues to grow like he was last year, then boom he’s your guy. Either way you’re paying him nothing and you can’t lose no matter what.
A blind man who just got back from a 3 year space mission to the moon could have called this trade. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back 😂😂
Doesn't matter who owns the Broncos, who's the GM or who's the coach. The Broncos will always have a wacky ass bunch of QBs that they will sputter around with. Outside of Manning the last 25 years have been a never ending carousel of crap and gimmicks.
If the Broncos actually keep that Qb depth chart into the season I can finally brag my Carolina Panthers don't have the worst stable of quarterbacks in the league for a short amount of time...
Zach Wilson looked like he was afraid to be on the field last year. Yes, the Jets had a terrible O-line but it wasn't that alone. Wilson looked like he just wanted to smile, throw a bit in practice and listen to Aaron Rodgers tell stories during the summer. It seemed like he was more than content to sit behind Rodgers and let him handle all the work and press and pressure, while Wilson could bask in whatever was happening, without any responsibility. Once he had to actually get on the field and get hit by opposing players, he looked like he just wanted to go home..... and grab a paycheck on the way out the door. It seemed like Wilson had a chance to make up for past poor play with Rodgers whispering in his ear but that didn't help. I've rooted for Zach Wilson to succeed and thought he had a shot, but if he has that same scared look in his eyes this year, there's no chance that Sean Payton will tolerate it. Hopefully, Zach Wilson shocks all the naysayers and becomes the quarterback most people thought that he was when he was drafted.
I've never liked pairing a rookie QB with a rookie head coach that's defensive head coach. I truly think that is the worst thing you can do when developing a QB. Don't even really like pairing a defensive head coach with a rookie QB, but a rookie defensive HC is worse, and I think we've see that in the Jets. The defense has been pretty good, but the offense not so much. Sean even made Russel look good again at times this year, running a high school offense, but running it well. Maybe he can make another Breeze out of Wilson... but probably not. This is probably a "just in case" trade if they don't get a QB in the the draft.
Didn't watch video, just wanted to say that Wilson trade is a smokescreen, since Brady is coming out of retirement to play for Broncos. I saw Brady and Coach Payton playing golf at my club.

Never doubt the scriptwriter…
Not just character he plays. Lol
Considering he is a Chiefs fan, he clearly wants to punish the rest of the division.

An evil GM.
A bad GM.

Just like Gute, Tom also saw that Jordan Love had a lot of potential

Him and his little wheel are villains in a Pixar movie.

The coaches wife Zachie! Why you think he brought you in here?!
Perna, hide your mom. And your wife

I'd love to see "The Last 5yrs Denver Broncos with the script writer" ft Perna as the broncos. That could be a wild ride.
Tom must’ve done some voodoo over an active volcano for this to come true
He threw Joe Barry's defense playbook in

Grossi’s script writer character is actually real life.

broncos gave us news before and after GPS. a new standard!
NFL confirmed watches GPS and did this simply on the fact perna said he wouldn't even trade a 7th for Wilson

Tom not knowing how to break it to him that he would in fact be fine with shipping off that 7th is hilarious😭

Lmfao predicted it with the 7th round pick too
That one was obvious. No one giving anything less than a 7th

Tom , don't ever make predictions about my team. Go back to iceland until the season starts...🍻
It is spooky how nearly accurate this was
Yes but there’s only 7 rounds in the draft so the least you can give..
They would have given any team a bag of beans and an imaginary eighth round pick in 2023 to get rid of Zach.

Perna’s Penix
He played pretty good against the chief's last season. He has promise.
He's not Aaron Rogers, which already makes him an infinitely better human being.
That Karma wheel is powers not to be meddled with Perna 😂
I have this weird feeling that Peyton's going to think "ah, my new Brees" when it comes to Zach.
