This is the first time I’m heard Tim talk... fan going back 20 years plus! What a great dude, just exactly how I would expect Tim to be... very open, wide mind, sweet dude. Great drummer. Thanks Tim for all your inspiration!
Me too! I've been listening to Tim for over 20 years. Since you are a fan, check out his work with Attention Deficit and Laundry. You'll like that too. Take care.
Managed to find one in 2012 from some Irish (local buy) website. The ad was old, & I'm in Australia, but I emailed the guy anyways & got a quick response. Had it shipped over for like $450. Gotta have that Impulse ride, baby.
Tim, wow I never heared you talk so much ever, great content, its good to get to know you. Please the world wants to know who you are.....Top interview.
I like three drummers in Primus Jay Lane Tim Alexander and Brain they are super drummers! I'm more curious about their drum parts for the songs from records on Primus catalog I love those songs and albums
That’s more words I’ve heard Herb say since 1990. always figured he had something to say even if that was not much, but this is far more than I used to expect.
He is such a drummer 🤣 I mean, I love him and his style of drumming! And how he was always the grumpy, silent dude, next to extrovert Les Claypool. And now this: 1000% drummer 😄😄😄
personally, primus without tim alexander is just not as good ...his phrasing "makes" the songs, without him, their songs are just technically proficient bass music, with him they are all masterpieces...just sayin...
This is the most I've heard him speak. Thank you for the upload.
"Tim doesn't speak much ever since the accident with the Polo mallet."

This was a genuine interview, thanks for all the info shared Mr. Alexander. In addition, that's a damn cool set!!!
Tim was my Neil Pert, and also Neil Pert, Dave Lombardo, Paul Bostaph, Vinnie Paul, but Tim was always my Neil first and formost.
Great interview great answers
What would life be without Tim Alexander??
just ordered some of his sticks from his website. Tim is definitely the main reason i play drums today.

Don't experiment when improving live. Sound advice, noted. Thank you Sir!

Wonder how much he go paid to play in blue man group?
Did they have three drummers? Jay, This dude and Brian (Brain)
yes
Literatetree this dude????
this is Herb!! in my opinion....the ONLY Primus drummer that matters.
Les Claypool in an interview with Lars Ulrich said that from 1984 till 1988 or something like that, Primus went through about 8 drummers.
Man, Lars "Lars" Ulrich can show this guy a thing or two.
