Well, I've learned something new again. I didn't know that Glen Wild Lake existed. Very pretty place. In the video, the two lane road and the structures seem very familiar. I can recall driving on Union Avenue into Bloomingdale, and further into Butler and Kinnelon. For me, like Yogi Berra used to say: It's like deja vu all over again. I had the feeling that I've been here before. This general area is typical of Northern Passaic County. Scenic, mountainous, and beautiful.
Private Lake community . While there are no gates etc It is very much frowned upon entering if : you are not a resident, have not been invited by a resident to visit, or are not a serivce provider that needs to do work there. I spent many a summer on the lake at my cousins lakehouse. The community is tight knit. Quite a few families have been there for generations. They have maintained a very safe and beautiful place. Advice to viewers: dont go there thinking you can just park and go swimming anywhere you want- there is no public access to the lake and the surrounding land, which is also owned by the Lake association.
Luckily there are a few properties available for sale and if someone is inclined to find a peaceful place to call home, Glen Wild, might be a good option.

May it remain the best kept secret by all who have loved it over the years…

Loved the vid, but I don't know anyone there that calls themselves a Wilder.
Darn, I was misinformed 😄
