This tournament was no fun for any1. It was filled with cheaters and it’s stupid how the ban wave works after the tourney. Thanks for the quality content that came out of this disaster.
i’m not surprised at all that a bedwars tournament was filled with cheaters and hypixel made no effort to ban any of them until after. really goes to show that the only tournaments people can enjoy are community held.
I queued them once but fred walked off and the doigts guy accidentally fbd himself off when i 1 tapped him. I didn't think much of it until someone told me doigts was cheating. I checked replay and sure enough, this guy was autoblocking and using like 20 vlo. Kinda sad to see a known player blatantly boosting while unnicked, especially on a 1k star account.
Those two blues in the airshow game were also in your crogorm game- so glad you beat them. I don’t know how blatantly cheating let alone building a swatstika is allowed…
Placing high in the BW tourney was honestly mostly luck.. There were a TON of good duo's it was just a matter of who you queued more than anything and luck.
@@meflio For us specifically it came down to how many times we encountered true blatant hackers... Ones that would just fly to your bed. We honestly didnt have a huge problem with the "closet" cheaters using reach or even scaffold. In our 40 games we encountered fly hackers 19 times and stood no chance... My friends duo encountered that only 4 times. So was all a matter of luck. I think it was maybe because we played and queued late at night est.

Again, I am making an observation based on facts. Some great teams never had a chance due to bad luck with hackers. Its really that simple. Before this tourney, I hadnt even played the game in 3 years.
@@JonHop1 the issue with that your saying is that gm didn’t even have that many hoppers just blatant cheaters like the ones they fought in this vid, they beat these cheaters and many others didn’t because they are a great duo
@@Muttal9348 Not really.. They just got lucky depending on the type of cheaters they encountered. Im not saying they are not a good team, or not good at the game. But there is pretty much a skill ceiling in BW's now. You put 50 of the best duos against each other and any given day could be a different result against each other just based on the flow of the game and how things unfold. But in the Tourney, it more came down to how many fly hackers and blatant cheaters you came across as anyone can beat a closet cheater, especially on Hypixel with the lag. Of course you had to be good at the game and a good duo to place high, thats obvious. But like I was saying, tons of great, top duos didnt even make top 300 due to hackers.

@@shakumohan I’ve had it twice and played bedwars for absurd amounts of time during both time frames bc I didn’t want to do anything active. Bedwars requires literally no health to play. Video games are meant to be played when ur sick
